The summer season of Peacekeeper Elite League has finally come to an end. It was an intense tournament which featured the top Chinese teams battling against each other to get the title. Along with that, the tournament became more intense when it was announced that the teams would be qualified for the upcoming PUBG Mobile Global Championship from the same. Therefore, the teams gave their best efforts to ensure that they have a slot in the Global Championship. The tournament had a total prize pool of 4.2 million dollars and Team SMG was crowned as the champions.

 

The team played their level best and secured the first position on the leaderboard after the end of 20 matches of the Grand finals. They had secured a total of 199 points from the 20 matches which helped them to win and take away the prize of approximately 1.17 million dollars. Fans thought that the tournament would be an easy win for the team of Nova Esports but unfortunately Nova slipped down to the 2nd position after the end of the last match of the tournament. This allowed the team of SMG Gaming to win the tournament and crown themselves as the champions.

 

LGD Gaming improved their performance in the Grand finals as they dominated many matches out of the 20. This helped the team to secure the third position in the Grand finals of the tournament with a total of 174 points. Team SMG has now been successful to advance themselves directly to the Grand finals of the PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2022. On the other hand, Nova Esports and LGD Gaming have been qualified for the League Stages of the same. These three Chinese teams would be representing the region in the Global Championship.

There are a total of 48 teams which would be qualified from 22 different regions all over the world. These teams would be fighting against each other to compete for the 13 slots of the tournament Grand finals. TJB Gaming had a tough tournament as they dropped to the fourth position and missed their slot in the PUBG Mobile Global Championship. The team had a margin of 160 points and missed the slot by a total of 14 points. Ajie from the team of Thunder Talks was able to take the award of Most Valuable Player of the tournament. He gave a thunderous performance throughout the Grand finals.

 

Match Highlights

The first match of the day was being played on the Miramar map. It was an intense final fight between three teams which were JDE, LGD and JTeam. In the end of the fight, it was JTeam which was able to secure the win in the match with a total of 10 kills. Nova Esports started the match in a dominant way but unfortunately were eliminated early. They just scored a total of 6 elimination points from the game.

 

The second match was being played in the rainforest map of Sanhok. This match saw the comeback of the team of Tianba as they secured a Winner Winner Chicken dinner with a total of 7 eliminations. It also helped the team to jump up in the points table as they ranked 8th after this match. The Chosen had a great performance as they collected a total of 14 points from this match. On the other hand, Nova Esports gave a poor performance as they got eliminated with zero points.

The third match came out to be the game changing one for the team of SMG Gaming. This match was being played in the Erangel map and it saw the team of SMG Gaming to dominate the lobby yet again. They were successful to win the game with a total of 9 eliminations. This match helped them to jump from 3rd position to the 2nd position in the tournament leaderboard. They now had 174 points and were holding 2nd position. Nova Esports again did not performed well as they were not able to collect a good amount of points from the game.
