PEL Summer Playoffs Round 2 Highlights

The second round of Peace Elite League Summer Playoffs has come to an end and we have received the teams which would be advancing themselves to the Grand finals of the tournament. The second round of the tournament lasted for a total of two days and had 10 intense matches which were being played between the qualified teams. These teams gave each other a tough competition because of which the best ones have made it to the Grand finals. The team of LGD Gaming remained both consistent and dominant in their performance which helped them to secure the first position with a total of 127 points.

Fans did not expected that the team of RGD would be able to finish the tournament at the table toppers. But the team gave a dominant performance on the final day of Round 2 which helped them to jump up in the points table and end at the 2nd position. The final match of the Round 2 came to be the deciding match for the team of RGD where they secured the win to make their points a total of 82 with two chicken dinners. And these points were enough for the team to bag their position in the table. So, it would be the team of LGD and RGD which would be advancing themselves to the Grand finals of the tournament.

They would now be joining the team of Nova Esports for the Grand finals. Nova Esports had won the first round of the Playoffs which helped them to advance to the Grand finals at the earliest. Let us now have a look at how the matches of the tournament went out for the players and teams.

Match Highlights

The first match of the day was won by the team of LGD Gaming as they began to show their domination from the very start. The team had collected a total of 25 points from this match which helped them to create a huge points gap between the teams who were behind them. Along with that, the Most Valuable Players of the match had a total of three players from the team of LGD Gaming which shows that the team dominated the lobby to a great extent.

Fans also had much expectations from the team of Thunder Talks. There was just a minute difference between Thunder Talks and the team of LGD Gaming. But unfortunately, the 2nd day of the Round 2 did not went as planned for the team of Thunder Talks. They were only able to take a total of 16 points during the day due to which they slipped down to the 4th position. If the team would have maintained their momentum, it would have been easier for them to take their spot in the Grand finals.

JTeam also gave a consistent performance throughout the 10 matches of the tournament. They were at the 3rd position at the end of Day 1 and had hopes to be qualified before the Day 2 ends. But unfortunately, they missed their spot for the Grand finals by just a margin of three points. The final match of the day which saw RGD Gaming to secure the win came out to be the turning point for the JTeam. They would now be looking forward to perform well in the further stages of the tournament which are now coming forward.

The team of 4AM made a great comeback to the tournament during the 2nd day. They were unable to perform well during the first day due to which the team came under the bottom rankers of the tournament. But the team showed their domination and patience which helped them to jump high in the points table and end the tournament Round 2 at the 5th position.

Now the remaining teams would be facing each other in the third round of the tournament. It is the final opportunity for the teams to ensure that they are qualified for the Grand Finals of the tournament. The team of Nova Esports is now grinding themselves up for the tournament finals and waiting for the other teams.
