Unknown uses of Minecraft Donkeys

Donkeys in Minecraft are probably one of the most underrated and underused animals in the game. People either build them to make an actual mine cart, or they use them as a source of meat. While these are both good reasons to have a donkey in your game, there are many more things you can do with donkeys than simply using them as a pack animal or a food source. A donkey has many other uses in Minecraft besides just being a way to transport your goods or food. Here are some top ways you can use donkeys in Minecraft:

5 ways that players can utilize donkeys in Minecraft

1) Mounted chests

Mounted chests - You can store items in these chests while you're out adventuring and then retrieve them when you return home by mounting the chest on your donkey's back! This is great for storing items that you need quick access to, such as tools or food. The Minecraft Donkey Pack gives you access to eight different types of donkeys: brown, grey, white, black, white with black spots, black with white spots, brown with white spots and grey with black spots. Each type of donkey has a different texture and saddle colour combination. The donkeys have a variety of uses in Minecraft, but they're best known for their ability to carry chests on their backs. If you place a chest on top of a donkey's saddle and right-click it, then you can ride around on your new steed while wearing its contents like an ill-fitting backpack. It's like having an extra inventory slot for all your loot!

2) Ridable mounts

A donkey is the only viable means of efficient travel in Minecraft. By building a horse trap and releasing a wild horse into it, you are able to capture a normal Minecraft horse. However, horses cannot survive in the wild without food, and they can't be fed. Therefore, they must be tamed with food and then broken using a saddle and an iron whip to get them to obey you. Taming a horse is not efficient because it requires 4 bread or carrots, which are fairly rare to find in large quantities. Making a donkey is much more efficient because donkeys can survive on grass. They also accept all types of food, even rotten flesh and seeds. Furthermore, donkeys are faster than horses and do not require saddles or whips to be controlled by the player.

3) Donkeys can be led

The Minecraft donkey is a technological advancement that is a bit behind the curve. For example, they can be led using a carrot on a stick, but they will still run away if they are not given the carrot on a stick. The advantages of having donkeys in Minecraft are that they can be used to carry more items around without having to waste time walking back and forth to your house, and you can use them as pack mules to do some serious mining when you want to find rare ores. This makes it easier for players to get all the materials they need to build more Redstone contraptions and better shelters.

4) Health regeneration

The first use for donkeys is healing. You may have noticed that when players take damage from mobs or from falling from great heights, their health bar shrinks and their hearts turn red—that's because the heart represents the player's health point meter. If a player continues taking damage or falls from another ledge, their hearts will eventually turn to dust and begin disappearing; it foreshadows that the player will soon die unless they manage to restore their health. While there are a handful of ways to do this, one of the easiest methods requires having access to a donkey.

5) Breed

Minecraft donkeys are some of the most useful animals to have in a survival situation. They're handy for carrying large loads of materials and for quickly traveling through the land. They can also help you breed other types of Minecraft animals and livestock, like pigs, cows and sheep. Donkeys can be bred with any type of animal or beast. When breeding two animals together, the resulting offspring is often more useful than either parent was on its own.
