XSET crowned as PMPL North America Champions

Finally, the spring season of PMPL North America has come to an end and the team of XSET were successful to show why they are among the most dominant teams available in the region. This is the second consecutive time when the team had won the PMPL North America Championship. They gave a perfect performance in all of the eighteen matches being played at the finals which helped them to clinch the title yet again. They secured a total of three chicken dinners along with 97 elimination points which helped their points total to go 218. Therefore, they became the table toppers and won the tournament.

The main fight among the teams was that they would be able to bag a spot in the PMPL America Championship 2022. There were a total of 16 teams that will be featured in the tournament. These teams came by getting themselves qualified from the PMPL of North America, Brazil and LATAM. Alpha 7 Esports have been directly invited to the tournament as they were the winners of the previous season. So, the top 5 teams from the PMPL North America Championship have been successful to make it to the PMPL America Championship 2022. Unfortunately, the team of HTV Esports had been disqualified from the tournament as they violated the rules of the game.

Top 3 teams in PMPL North America Championship

The first position of the tournament went to the team of XSET as they had a total of 218 points with a total of 97 kill points. This helped the team to show their domination and also get the highest prize of the tournament. The second position was secured by the team of Nova Esports NA. They gave their level best to secure the top position but had no answer to the consistent and dominant performance given by the team of XSET. Therefore, Nova Esports ended the tournament with a total of 207 points along with 87 finish points including a total of three chicken dinners.

The last match of the finals was won by the team of Nova but unfortunately they fell short by a total of 11 points. The Chosen were dominant in the qualifier round as they secured the first position but unfortunately were not able to maintain the same performance due to which they ended the finals of the tournament at the third position with 184 points.

Teams qualified for PMPL America Championship Spring

Let us now have a look at the teams which have been qualified for the PMPL America Championship 2022 Spring. The top 5 teams from the Grand finals have been successful to secure a place in the tournament and would be joining other eleven teams to compete for the title. The teams which have been qualified from PMPL North America Championship are as follows-

2. Nova Esports NA

3. The Chosen

4. Knights

5. Boring Protocol

These teams would be representing the North American region at a greater level but it is still questioning which among these teams would be able to be on the top. The team of Mezexis Esports NA also have given their best performance in the grand finals of the tournament. They were not able to secure any win in the finals but still had a total of 165 points on the leaderboard. Unfortunately, these points were not enough for the team to ensure that they are a part of the PMPL America Championship. The team of Lazarcus were not able to maintain their performance due to which they slipped down to the seventh position by the end of the tournament. They had ended the tournament with a total of 140 points.

There were many teams which performed their best in the league stages but failed to give the same performance in the tournament finals. WallStreetBets secured 4th position in the league stages of the tournament but ended the grand finals at the tenth position making them far away from being qualified. They had secured two chicken dinners but unfortunately they were not enough to help the team get qualified for the PMPL America Championship 2022. The team had secured a total of 112 points in the grand finals.
