Rarest Minecraft blocks in 1.18 update

The version 1.18 update is said to bring out many changes to the Minecraft world. It has changed the availability of many blocks and ores and along with that, this update changed the maximum height limit of the game. The introduction of caves and cliffs made finding diamonds even more hard this time as the players have to go even more down this time to ensure that they are able to find diamonds. However, there are some blocks which are hard to find in Minecraft. Most of the blocks do not seem rare but it is impossible for the players to obtain them in the game. Some of the rarest blocks which the players can find in Minecraft 1.18 update are as follows-

Grass Block

The grass block is probably one of the most common spawned natural blocks in the game but it is impossible for the players to obtain the same. When the players mine the grass to obtain it, they just get a block of dirt making the grass impossible to obtain. The only way to obtain a grass block is by killing an ender man who is carrying a grass block. But the chances of this happening are way too rare as the endermen present in the game rarely do pick the grass blocks.

Deepslate Copper Ore

We all are aware that the copper ore can be found by the players in the upper areas of the world. But it becomes rare to find copper as we go deeper and deeper in the caves. With the new update, the developers launched the availability of Deepslate as we go deep down in the caves. There are many ores which can be found here with copper ore being one. Not only that, copper ore being found in the form of a Deepslate is itself a rare thing to happen to the players in the 1.18 update.

Sponges

It is way too rare for the Sponges to spawn naturally in the game. They can be found in just one place in the game which are the Ocean Monuments. Now, we all are aware how rare do the Ocean Monuments spawn in the game making the chances to get a sponge even less. If the players kill the Elder Guardians, then they would be able to get Sponges which itself is a difficult task due to the negative effects we get upon attacking the Elder Guardians. The other way to get the same is through Sponge Rooms which are way too rare to find.

Ancient Debris

It is difficult to find ores in the Netherlands of the game. The chances of it naturally spawning in the world are way too less making it even difficult for the players to have nether with them to make a fight. Moreover, players would only be able to find Ancient Debris in the nether making it even more rare. This ore spawns only between Y level 11 and Y level 30 because of which it becomes difficult for the players to find it naturally. 

Gilded Blackstone

There are only two structures which the players would be able to find in the Netherlands and these are Bastions and Nether Fortress. Both of them are equally rare and have less chances to be spawned near the portal. Gilded Blackstone can only be found in the Bastions which are difficult to find in many of the seeds. If the players have found a Gilded Blackstone block, it is not guaranteed that they will receive Gilded Blackstone only while mining it. Mining this block sometimes even gives gold nuggets. Because of this reason, it becomes difficult for the players to get this block in the game.

Deepslate Emerald Ore

The last and also the rarest block which any player could find in the game is the Deepslate Emerald Ore. Emeralds have very less chance to be spawned naturally in the form of ores and if the players are able to get the same they would have to go to the Mountains. Therefore z this makes the chances of an emerald ore being spawned in the Deep Slate even more rare.
