All you need to know about PMPL SEA Championship 2022

 

The roadmap of PUBG Mobile Global Championship is about to be more intensified when the players would be going against each other in PMPL SEA Championship 2022. All of the tournaments that had been played in different regions of South East Asia have come to an end and we have got the teams which would be representing their respective nations in the PMPL SEA Championship. Tencent has introduced a Play-Ins system so that the teams which were not able to be the table toppers in the respective tournaments get another chance to be qualified for PMPL SEA Championship.

 

The Play-Ins of the tournament are scheduled to begin on 8 May. There would be a total of 16 teams that would be giving their best to ensure they get a spot in the PMPL SEA Championship 2022. Teams which secured 4th to 6th positions in the PMPL Championships of different southeast Asian regions would be going up against each other. There are many teams that carry the fans expectations and would be trying their level best to ensure that they are able to qualify from the same. The top three teams from the Play-Ins of the tournament would be successful to secure their place in the PMPL SEA Championship 2022 Spring.

Qualified Teams

Let us now have a look at the list of teams which have been qualified for the Play-Ins of the PMPL SEA Championship 2022. The list comprises teams of different regions which would be going off against each other to show that who is the best. These teams are as follows-

  10. Talent Esports (Vietnam)

  11. Like Glue Esports (Vietnam)

  12. Eagle Esports (Vietnam)

  13. Tong Jia Bao Esports (Asia Pacific)

  14. Margin Esports (Asia Pacific)

  15. Genesis Esports (Asia Pacific)

  16. LIT Esports (Asia Pacific)

 

These are the sixteen teams which would be playing the Play-Ins of the tournament to ensure that they have a place in the PMPL SEA Championship. This was the first time when the PMPL Asia Pacific Championship was held at a large scale combining the teams of Cambodia, Myanmar, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Macau and Brunei together to compete in a single championship. The tournament had a total prize pool of 15K USD and the top 4 teams from the tournament have made their place to the Play-Ins for the PMPL SEA Championship 2022 Spring.

The team of Tong Jia Bao Esports showed their domination in the tournament which helped them to secure the first position. Their consistent performance did not allow any other team to take up their spot in the rankings. The team of LIT Esports ended the tournament at the fourth position being just qualified for the Play-Ins. Now they would be looking forward to give a great performance in the Play-Ins and secure a spot in the PMPL SEA Championship. Yangoon Galacticos had a tough fight till the end for their qualification but unfortunately missed their spot with a margin of 5 points.

 

The Play-Ins is the last and final opportunity for the teams to ensure that they get a good start to be qualified for the upcoming PMGC 2022. There would be no chance for the teams to make a comeback and they have to ensure that they remain consistent with their performances. Fans have been waiting for the team of Bigetron RA to make a comeback to the PUBG Mobile Esports and this is the best time for the team to prove why they are the most aggressive teams in the Esports history of PUBG Mobile.

 

Although the team is not in form as of now, they would be looking forward to perform their best in the Play-Ins and secure a position in the tournament. Bigetron RA has also been the runners up of the previous PMPL SEA Championship that took place and this is a great time for the team to make a comeback. On the other hand, Biubiu also would be making his comeback to the PUBG Mobile competitive scenario and playing for the team of Genexus. Fans are also having some expectations from the FaZe Clan.
