Will Midas return to Fortnite?

In a new interview with The Verge, Fortnite creative director Darren Sugg said that the return of Midas is still on the cards. "We're working on something for Midas," he explained. "It's coming." Fortnite Season 8 kicked off last week and has so far delivered a number of changes to its gameplay and map, including the likes of a new mode called Snobby Shores, which sees players attempt to defend their base from waves of attackers.

The game's director has been keen to stress that this isn't just a small tweak but rather part of a larger plan for Fortnite's future. "The biggest thing we're doing this year is we're making some fundamental changes to how the game plays," Epic Games executive producer Jackson Tester told PC Gamer earlier this month. "We're looking at some areas where we think it could be better and make it more fun."

Fortnite Creative Director Dan Gaskill has hinted at a Midas' return to the game. The character, who was previously a limited time skin, was released with the Season 5 Battle Pass and made available as a free outfit for anyone who purchased the Battle Pass. Gaskill took to Twitter to say he was "super excited" about the return of Midas and that it would be "awesome" if he could make it happen. He added: "You'll see him in action soon."

Chances of Midas return

Donald Mustard has teased the return of Fortnite's mysterious character, Midas. The developer has been silent on the subject for a while, but it looks like he's ready to give fans more details about him. Sometime back in July 2018, Donald Mustard teased that there will be an update coming soon. The developer also added an image of Midas to his Twitter profile along with the caption "Coming Soon." However, we don't know when exactly this update will be released.

Now it seems that we might have an answer to this question. According to Game Rant, Donald Mustard is teasing the return of Midas in Fortnite. However, he hasn't revealed anything else about him yet except for his image on Twitter. The information comes from his work on the Epic Games Launcher. In a tweet, he says that he's working on "a few things" with Epic Games, which could be another teaser that Midas is coming back to Battle Royale.

Mustard has previously teased that Midas would return to Battle Royale, so it wouldn't be surprising if this was the case. Fortnite's new season is finally here and there's a whole lot of changes to look forward to. Perhaps the biggest is the return of Midas, who was MIA for quite some time. Donald Mustard, who runs the popular FortniteLeaks YouTube channel, teased that Midas will be returning in Season 10 with a new skin and weapon. But why?

The answer lies in an old video from game developer Epic Games. In it, they reveal that the game was originally going to feature a different hero named Midas. However, after this hero was revealed to be female, developers realized that she would be a bad fit for the game's lore and decided against including her in the final version.

Donald Mustard, the Warped Wallpaper artist, has teased a return to Fortnite. A lot has happened in the game since he last worked on the game's official wallpaper. In addition to releasing a new skin and map, Epic Games has also released an update that removed all of the wallpapers from Battle Royale. Mustard is back with another tease for the next map. He posted two images on his Twitter account showing what appears to be a T-Rex and a monkey.

He also shared another image that shows a silhouette of a person holding up their hand with a finger pointing towards the sky. The image seems to be related to some sort of device or object that is floating in mid-air above them.
