What is going to happen in Minecraft Mob Vote 2022?

If you are a Minecraft lover, then you would be aware of the Mob votes which happen in the game every year. The developers have conducted this for a total of three times in the last five years. And in this mob vote, the developers ask the players which new mob should be added to the game. We all know that it has been time since the developers have brought out the version 1.19 update and there is no news when the next update would be out. There are many rumours telling about the things which would be launched in the version 1.20 update but it doesn't seem to be much clear.

There are a total of three mobs which have been added to the game through the mob votes. The first mob vote was done in the year 2017 and in the end, the developers had added Phantoms to the game as a result. The next mob vote was done during 2020 which resulted in the developers adding Glow Squids to the game. However, the players still do not have any idea how the glow squids would be beneficial to them in the game. The previous mob vote saw the Allay to win and it was introduced to the game in the 1.19 update.

Now it has been confirmed that the developers would be doing another mob vote for the 1.20 update of the game. And this mob vote would be much different from the other mob votes which had been done as more players would be able to participate in the same. Live Mob Vote for the next update

The players have been waiting for the next Minecraft update for a long time. Now, it is time that their wait would officially come to an end. The developers have announced the Minecraft Live which would be done in October 2022. This mob vote would be taking place in a way too different manner. This is what Mojang has said towards the same-

This year, you will get to vote for a new mob but we’re doing things a little bit differently. Instead of voting on Twitter, you will now be able to vote in a special Bedrock server, the Minecraft launcher, or here on Minecraft.net! The polls open on October 14, noon EDT which means that you will have a full 24 hours to cast your vote, (and change it as many times as you like!) while also keeping the results a total surprise until the announcement is made during the show.

So, it has been made clear by the developers that the mob vote would be different this time. It has made the players excited as they would be able to vote for their favourite mobs in the game only. For this to take place, there are many Minecraft content creators who have provided detailed information about the voting process. Players must note that the voting process would begin 24 hours before the live stream and come to an end as the live stream begins. So, the players are advised to vote for their favourite mobs as soon as possible.

The best part is that this time the players would be able to vote in-game also. Earlier it was held through the official Twitter handle of Minecraft due to which many people were not able to participate. Now the players just have to head towards a SMP whose details would be provided to them soon. Then they just have to pull the lever for the mob whom they would like to see in the next Minecraft update. It would be exciting to see which mobs would be coming to Minecraft by the next update and who would be carried to the next update of the game. There are no restrictions for the mob voting which means that both Bedrock and Java players would be able to participate in the Minecraft mob vote for the year 2022.
