The developers of PUBG New State Mobile had been working on the Esports scenario of the game. It has been more than a year since the game has been launched and now the developers have finally brought the game to the official Esports scenario. The first tournament for the same has also been announced by them and the fans waited for a long time for such an announcement. The developers would be announcing some tournaments soon but an Esports organization of India which goes by the name Villager Esports has announced a tournament for Indian Players.

 

All the information regarding the tournament was confirmed on the official Instagram account of Villager Esports. They also gave information related to the participating teams and other related things of the tournament. It has been confirmed that this tournament would be having some BGMI Esports teams also with their lineups. It would be intense to have all the BGMI teams back together in the same lobby but in the different game. This tournament has been named as PUBG New State Mobile Pro Invitational and it would be having a total of 2 lakh INR as a prize pool.

This tournament is confirmed to begin on September 1 and will go on for a week. So, it means that the tournament will come to an end on 7 September and we would receive the winners of the first PUBG New State tournament organised in the country. The tournament stages have also been announced and the tournament would be having two stages with a total of 24 participating teams. The maps which would be covered in the tournament would be Erangel and TROI maps only. It would be intense for the fans to see how the gamers are able to adapt themselves to the new game meta.

 

League stages

Let us now have a detailed look at the different states of the tournament. First stage of the tournament would be the League Stages. This would help the tournament organizers to know which teams would have their spot in the tournament finals. It has been revealed that the League Stages of the tournament would begin on 1st September and would come to an end on 4th September. All the teams would be participating in the same so that they get equal chances to be qualified for the tournament finals in the end.

 

There are a total of 24 teams which are participating in the tournament and they have been divided into a total of three groups. These groups have been named as A, B, and C and there are a total of 8 teams in each group. All the teams would be getting a total of 16 matches and by the end of the league stages, the teams which will receive the top 16 position in the tournament would advance themselves for the tournament finals. Now we would be having a detailed look at the process through which the tournament finals would be taking place.

 

Finals

As we have discussed earlier, the tournament finals would be having the top 16 teams from the League Stages. So, it is necessary for the teams to show their best performance throughout the League Stages and dominate the same. The finals of the tournament would begin just the next day as the League Stages of the tournament would come to an end. So, the finals would begin on 5th September and come to an end on 7th September. All the top 16 teams would be gearing themselves up to get a chunk of the total prize pool of the tournament.

 

It should be noted by the fans that this tournament has also conducted a qualifier stage through which the remaining teams have qualified themselves into the same. The qualifier stages of the tournament began in the month of August and it was the best time for the underdog teams to get an opportunity and represent themselves against the top teams of the country. Now we would have to see which team comes out to the top by the end of the tournament.
