PMWI 2022 Afterparty Showdown Day 2 Highlights

The second day of the PUBG Mobile World Invitational 2022 Afterparty Showdown came to an end a few hours ago. This day saw many changes in the overall standings of the tournament as the teams collected points and many teams in the bottom have now jumped to the top. There was no team which was able to dominate against the team of Alpha7 Esports. So, the Brazilian team dominated the lobby again as they took a total of three wins during the tournament which helped them to maintain the first position in the tournament.

Alpha7 Esports is currently having a total of 137 points in the tournament leaderboard. Vampire Esports also made a comeback due to which they improved their rank in the points table. They dominated most of the matches with constant performance which helped them to reach the 2nd position with a total of 110 points. Vampire Esports dominated the tournament Day 2 as they took a total of 3 wins which helped them to get the boost. Falcon Esports also maintained their performance which has helped them to keep the third position in the tournament. Stalwart Esports were unable to push their rankings to the leaderboard.

Match Highlights

The first match of the day was being played on the Erangel map. This match saw the team of Alpha 7 Esports dominate the entire lobby which helped them to secure the win. There was no other team which was able to dominate against them as Alpha 7 Esports won the match with a total of 11 finishes. This helped the team to strengthen up their position in the leaderboard of the tournament. 7Sea Esports secured 3rd position in this match without any kills. 

The second match was being played in the Livik map which saw Team Falcons to dominate the lobby yet again. The runners-up of the Main Event showed their domination as they won the game with a total of 7 finishes. Fans had much expectations that the team of Bigetron RA would be able to win in this match but they got eliminated at the 2nd position with a total of 5 kills. Third position was bagged by the team of Nigma Galaxy with a total of 8 eliminations. 

The third match was being played in Vikendi and it saw the most intense fights of the tournament till now. Damwon Gaming, Alpha 7 Esports and Vampire Esports were fighting against each other for the win in the final zone. At the end, it was Vampire Esports who defied the odds and secured a 7 kill Chicken dinner during this match. Alpha 7 Esports maintained their consistent performance by securing 2nd position with a total of 4 kills. DAMWON Gaming placed third with a total of 6 kills.

The fourth match was being played in the rainforest map of Sanhok. This match saw the runners-up of the Main Event to dominate again as they secured the win with a total of 5 kills. Bigetron RA again missed securing the win as they got eliminated at the 2nd position in this match with a total of 6 kills. Nigma Galaxy also dominated the lobby in an aggressive way but failed to win and got eliminated at the 3rd spot with a total of 5 kills. Stalwart Esports did not performed well in this match as they collected just 4 points from this match. 

Vampire Esports again dominated the lobby in the fifth match as they secured the win with a total of 6 kills. This match was great for the team of 7Sea Esports as they collected a total of 10 finishes from this match but were unable to secure the win. Therefore, the team had collected a total of 16 points from this match alone. Alpha 7 Esports maintained their momentum yet again as the team had collected a total of 13 points from this match. The last match of the day was again secured by the team of Vampire Esports with a total of 13 finishes. Bigetron RA again secured 2nd spot in this match.
