PMWI 2022 Afterparty Showdown Day 3 Highlights

The third day of the PUBG Mobile World Invitational Afterparty Showdown came to an end a few hours ago. All the teams from different parts of the world showed their best performance which helped them to make this tournament even more interesting for the fans. The tournament saw the introduction of two new maps to the Esports scenario of PUBG Mobile which were Livik and Karakin. Vampire Esports maintained their performance in the entire tournament which helped them to be crowned as the champions of the PMWI 2022 Afterparty Showdown. The team had also won the Main Event of the tournament. 

They took a total of 6 wins in the eighteen matches which they had played which helped them to be on the top of the leaderboard. In the end, they had a total of 180 points on the leaderboard and no other team was close to them in the same. They took home 167K US dollars as the prize money of the tournament. Alpha 7 Esports were dominating the tournament leaderboard but the team of Vampire Esports changed the tournament standings on the last day. So, Alpha 7 Esports slipped down to the 2nd position and ended with 174 points in the tournament.

Fans had much expectations from the team of Stalwart Esports as they had dominated the Main Event of the tournament too. But unfortunately, the team was not able to give their best in a few matches due to which they ended the tournament at the 5th spot. Indian team, 7Sea Esports improved their performance towards the end of the tournament which helped them to jump to the 9th position in the tournament. Therefore, they finished the tournament at the 9th position. Scout was awarded as the Fan Favourite Player of the tournament.

Match Highlights

The first match of the day was being played in Erangel map. And this match again saw the team of Vampire Esports to dominate as they clutched the win with a total of 9 eliminations. This match also marked a hat-trick win for the team as they had won the last two matches of Day 2. R8 Esports gave a decent fight to them but were unable to win. So, they got eliminated at the 2nd position with a total of 5 kills.

The next match was being played in Livik map and the team of Vampire Esports again dominated the lobby. They took the fourth consecutive chicken dinner in this match and also came up to the first position in the overall rankings. Nigma Galaxy was able to take a total of 16 points from this match being at the 2nd position while Stalwart Esports bagged 3rd spot.

The third match was being played in the Vikendi map and it saw the team of Stalwart Esports finally get a win in the tournament. After many near chicken performances, the team won this match with a total of 7 kills. Alpha 7 Esports also gave a dominating performance in this match which helped the team to gain the top position once again in the tournament. They established a 12 points difference between the team of Vampire Esports.

Bigetron RA made a comeback to the tournament as they finally secured a win in the fourth match. This match saw a comeback for the team as most of the times they got eliminated at 2nd and 3rd positions. 7Sea Esports had a great start to this match as they scored 6 eliminations but unfortunately got early eliminated and got no position points in this match.

The fifth match of the day was probably the best match for all the Indian fans who have been watching the tournament. This match saw the team of 7Sea Esports dominate the Sanhok lobby as they took a total of 10 kill Chicken dinner in this game. This match also helped the team by lifting them up from the bottom position of the leaderboard for the first time. Many Indian fans loved the exciting performance given by the team in this match and waited for such performance for a long time.
