One of the most anticipated shows of the year, Rising of the Shield Hero season 3 is finally back with a new key visual and staff!

Rising of the Shield Hero season 3 has been confirmed for an early 2019 release. The first season of this show was based on the popular novel by Yoshiki Tanaka, which was adapted into a manga in 2013. The story follows a young boy named Shuuya who has to protect his village from an evil dragon that is threatening to destroy it. It's no wonder why this show was so popular — it features all the elements we love about anime: strong characters, amazing fighting scenes and lots of action!

The new key visual for Rising of Shuuya's journey in season 3 looks like it will be even more epic than before! There are so many awesome things happening in this image that I could go on forever talking about them — maybe another day.
