Can BGMI be unbanned in the country?

Battlegrounds Mobile India has been one of the most popular mobile games in India. This game had only been released for over a year and it already broke many milestones which no one expected. Along with that, the BGMI LAN events and the tournaments being held by them have also given a rise to the Indian Esports scenario and given opportunity to many players. But unfortunately, the game received yet another ban on July 28. It was removed from the Google Play Store and App Store without any reason. At that time, this may have panicked some players while the others thought it might be some glitch in the Play Store and App Store servers

But within the next few hours, it has been confirmed that the game had been banned under section 69 A. Earlier the players did not had any idea why the game has been removed from the Play Store and App Store. So, one of the Google's statement revealed that they had removed the game following the orders they had received from the Government of India. After that, Krafton also accepted the removal of the game from the respective stores and the developers are now communicating with the Government officials to ensure that all the issues are successfully resolved.

But there are many reasons which make the fans think that the game can be brought back or unbanned in the country. We all know that when PUBG Mobile was banned in 2020, the government of India released a huge list of applications which had been banned along with the same. So, this ban case is not similar to the previous ban case in any situation. Because of this, most of the players are now questioning about the game's ban and whether it would be able to come back to the country or not. Let us now have a look at the same.

Are there any chances for Game unban?

PUBG Mobile and PUBG Mobile Lite were first banned in the country during September 2020. After that, the developers took their time for a few months and then they launched Battlegrounds Mobile India during July 2021. The game was going well with Krafton actively organising tournaments for the Esports scenario to grow in the country. But unfortunately, the game received another ban from the Government of India. Since the game has received another ban, it is now definitely impossible for the players to find the old vibe which they used to get earlier in PUBG Mobile when the game was not banned.

The removal of the game again from the respective stores have again made the fans lose their hope regarding the unban of the game. However, some internal sources have confirmed that Meity and Krafton would sit in a meeting soon to ensure that they have all the issues resolved immediately to bring the game back. This meeting was said to happen on 29 July 2022. After the meeting, the developers of the game brought an official statement which made the fans know that even the developers are now trying their level best to bring the game back to the country.

There are many professional players and content creators who hinted regarding this meeting either through their Tweets or through their videos or live streams. Along with that, the players are also said to remain in hopes as the game will be back to the country this time. But on the other hand, there are some creators who have advised the players to move to some another mobile game till the developers are working to bring BGMI back to the country.

So, all the players and content creators of BGMI are now hoping that the game might come back soon after the meeting takes place successfully and Krafton agrees to follow what the Government of India says to them. Along with that, Ghatak Gaming also said that this is a temporary ban to the game so the players must remain in hopes and the game will come back soon.
