All you need to know about PMPL America Championship 2022

All you need to know about PMPL America Championship 2022

It has been made official that the PUBG Mobile Pro League America Championship would be commencing on 26 May. This tournament would be comprising of all the top teams from the American region which have been qualified through the regional tournaments (PMPL) they have played. It would be interesting for the fans to watch all the top American teams facing off against each other to be called as the American champions. The teams would also be competing so that they get a spot in the PMGC 2022 which is the grandest stage of them all. These tournaments would help the teams to gather points in the PMGC Qualification points table.

 

The tournament has been officially confirmed to start on 26 May. This tournament would last for a total of 4 days with 6 matches being played each day. Therefore, the team which reaches out to be on the top by the end of the tournament would be crowned as the PMPL America's Champions. There are a total of 16 teams which have been qualified through three different regional PMPL tournaments. These teams have been qualified through the three regions which are Brazil, Latin America and North America. Now they would be going off against each other to prove which team and which region is the best. A total of 5 teams have been qualified through each region and Alpha 7 Esports have been directly invited 5o the tournament being the defending champions.

These are the teams which would be competing against each other in the tournament. There would be a total of six matches being played each day and they would be played in three competitive matches which are Erangel, Miramar and Sanhok. The first match would be played in Erangel map, and the next in Miramar. Third match would again be played in Erangel while the 4th match would be played in the most intense Sanhok map. The fifth match will again be played in the Erangel map and the last match would be played in Miramar. So, the teams need to carry out great strategies over each map to ensure that they are able to collect a good amount of points through the games.

 

PMPL Brazil Overview

In the PMPL Spring Brazil, Vivo Keyd dominated the tournament in both the league stages and the finals. They remained consistent in their performance which helped them to be the table toppers in both league stages and the grand finals. The team had a balanced gameplay style throughout the tournament. This helped them to keep the title with them. Influence Rage also gave a good performance in the tournament as they ended up at the 2nd position in the grand finals. 

 

Fans had many expectations from the team of Alpha 7 Esports but unfortunately they were not able to come up to the expectations. Still they performed well which helped them to finish 4th in the league stages and 3rd in the tournament grand finals. As they were already invited to the tournament, the team which finished 7th in the tournament grand finals were invited to the PMPL America Championship 2022.

 

PMPL Latin America Spring

This was probably one of the best tournaments ever held in the region. Aton Esports were successfully able to show their domination in the tournament which helped them to become the PMPL Latin America Champions. When the tournament started, no one thought that they would be able to win the title again as they did not performed well in the tournament league stages. But the team made their most awaited comeback in the tournament grand finals which helped them to become the consecutive champions of the PMPL Latin America Championship. Now they would be looking forward to dominate in the PMPL America Championship and take the title
