How to defeat Blazes in Minecraft?

Minecraft has a variety of mobs available in the game for a long time. Most of the mobs in the game are not harmful to the players and provide useful materials like pork chop, mutton and much more. But some of the mobs in the game are hostile and the players need to be aware while taking fights against them. These mobs have some special powers and when the players kill them, they would receive some unique items which would be helpful to them in the game. All of the mobs drop items which are useful to the players but some of these items are rare to get but come under the list of the most important ones in order to complete the game.

The Overworld does not consists of much hostile mobs as compared to the Nether. The mobs which the players would find in the Nether would be helpful to them in finding materials through which they would be able to complete the game. One of the most important and also the most dangerous mobs found in the Nether is the Blaze which spawns in the Nether Fortress. 

These mobs are way too useful for the players as the players would be needing Blaze Rods in order to craft the Eye of Ender. The Eye of Ender is itself a rare but useful item in the game as it helps the players in locating the Stronghold and also activating the End Portal. Once the players would have activated the same, they would be able to go to the End Dimension and beat the Ender Dragon to complete the game. However, it is not that easy to fight against the Blazes as they even shoot fireballs at the players. Here we would be having a look at the best ways in which you would be able to beat the Blaze. These ways are as follows-

Critical Damage of Axe

Axe is considered to be one of the strongest weapons in the game. They deal the highest damage as compared to Swords and are mostly used by players for killing the mobs. If the players are having an efficient axe either of Diamond or Netherite, they would be able to kill the Blaze with just one or two hits. However, the players must keep in mind that they need great accuracy while doing the same as the Blazes even shoot fireballs which can deal constant damage to the players. So, it is recommended to have great accuracy skills before using this method.

Building shields in form of walls

If you have been playing Minecraft for a long time then you would be aware that Blazes won't have a strong accuracy. So, if the players will build walls to protect themselves from the Blaze and keep the space of a block to shoot them through arrows, they would be able to kill a group of Blazes easily. But it is also recommend that the players must build walls with strong items such as Cobblestone or Bricks otherwise the fireballs would break the wall leading to more difficulty for the players.

Snowballs

We all know that Blazes are Fire-borne mobs so water or snow would be their weak points. Unfortunately, we are unable to place water in Nether but the players would be able to take Snowballs to the Netherlands. So, they can use the same to deal damage to the hostile mobs which they find there. A snowball is able to deal a damage of 3 HP to the mobs so the players would be needing a total of 7 snowballs in order to kill one blaze. This might be a time consuming method but it is still considered as the best methods to kill Blazes.

Fire resistance potion

Most of the players are scared of the Blazes just because of the fireballs which they shoot. But if the players would be having a fire resistance potion, then they would be able to take an equal fight against the Blaze and it would also make it easier for them to win the fights. Nether being a hot and lava filled place gives the mobs an advantage over the players. But if the players use the fire resistance potion, then they would be able to make things equal.
