All you need to know about PMPL European Championship 2022

Finally, the PUBG Mobile Pro League European Championship has begun and all the top teams from the European region will now be competing against each other to get an advantage for the spots in the PMGC 2022. There are a total of 16 teams which would be playing in the tournament to compete for the title. They would be facing each other for a total of 24 matches and this is the best opportunity for the teams to get an advantage for the PMGC 2022, the grandest stage of them all. The tournament will be a four day tournament and six matches would be played in a day to determine which team comes out to be the best.

The tournament will come to an end on 22 May and we would receive our champions for the PMPL European Championship. Out of the sixteen teams participating in the tournament, there are a total of eight teams which have been qualified through the PMPL Turkey and the remaining eight teams have qualified themselves from the PMPL which took place for the Western Europe. Unfortunately, the tournament was also supposed to bring out the teams from the CIS region but it got delayed due to the Russia-Ukraine conflict. Due to this reason, the CIS region teams have not been able to participate in the tournament as of now.

Teams qualified for PMPL European Championship 2022

Let us now have a look at the teams which would be participating in the PMPL European Championship 2022. These teams are as follows-

These are the teams which would be battling against each other in the tournament to find out which one of them comes out to be on the top as the tournament champions. Fans have much expectations from the team of TJB Esports and they hope that the team would be able to dominate the tournament again as they did their previous one's.

PMPL Western Europe Spring

This was probably the PMPL Western Europe tournament with the most twists and turns which surprised the fans. The team of Game Lord looked dominant in the starting of the tournament as they had secured the first position in the league stages. It looked like the defending champions are now ready to take the title back with them again. But unfortunately the team was not able to maintain the competition in the tournament finals due to which they ended the finals at the 4th position.

Fans had many expectations from the team of TJB Esports but unfortunately they were not able to perform well in the league stages of the tournament. Their average and consistent performance helped them to take the 4th place in the league stages. But fortunately, the team made an epic comeback in the tournament finals because of which they have won the tournament finals. They were followed by the team of Giants at the 2nd spot. The third position went to the team of Eastern Stars.

PMPL Spring Turkey

This was probably the best PMPL Turkey which have taken place till now. Fastpay Wildcats from the region of Istanbul were able to secure the title and come out as the winners of PMPL Spring Turkey 2022. They were not able to perform well in the league stages of the tournament as they ended up at the 10th position. The team saw the finals as a great chance to show their domination which helped them to secure the first position in the tournament finals. No team expected a comeback this strong from the team of Fastpay Wildcats.

S2G Esports were dominant in the league stages of the tournament and had secured first position in the same. But unfortunately they were not able to maintain their performance in the tournament finals due to which they slipped down to the 4th position. Ruya who were the winners of PMGC League West 2021, remained consistent and secured 2nd position in both league stages and grand finals of the tournament.
