Players have been waiting for the developers of Genshin Impact to launch the version 2.7 update to the game. This update has been delayed for weeks due to the COVID spread in the country of China. The developers earlier confirmed that the update would be delayed but they did not mention how much time it would take for the update to be launched. Finally, the developers have made some official announcements for the update for the players. They would be bringing in the livestream of version 2.7 update soon. The dates and time for the Special Program have been revealed by the developers on their official handles.

Also, the developers have confirmed the date on which version 2.7 update would be launched. They would be launching the update on 31 May, 2022. This update was supposed to be launched on 11 May but the developers delayed it due to the unfortunate circumstances. Currently, the players are playing the third phase of the version 2.6 update and now their wait for the next update is about to get over soon. Still players are having much time to farm the important materials which they would be needing to upgrade their characters and unlock things in the next update. Finally, a few hours ago, the official Twitter handle of Genshin Impact Japan revealed that the version 2.7 Special Program would be available to the players on 20 May, 2022. This news made the fans excited and it took over the internet. The announcement said that the Special Program would be available on 20 May, 2022 at 9:00 p.m. JST. This time zone as compared to the other regions would be as follows-

• IST- May 20, 2022 at 5:30 p.m.

• Pacific time- May 20, 2022 at 5:00 a.m.

• UTC- May 20, 2022 at 12:00 p.m.

• Singapore- May 20, 2022 at 8:00 a.m.

Now the players would be able to have a look at what the developers would be bringing into the game during the next update. Also, the players must note that this Special Program would only be available to the official Twitter handles of Genshin Impact. Therefore, this time the Special Program would be having many interesting things due to which the developers have decided to make it happen on just one platform. Once the Special Program will be completed on Twitter, it would be uploaded and streamed to the official YouTube handle of Genshin Impact within the next four hours.

There are many hints which the players have been given by the developers side through the official announcements. In the post which had been done for the announcement, many characters like Arataki Itto, Yelan and Xiao had been featured. This might hint the players towards the next banner update which would be coming into the game.
