Battlefield 2042 new update patch notes

The developers of Battlefield 2042 have made the new update of the game official. They recently announced the changes which would be coming to the game through the next update and it looks like the developers are trying their best to improve the game. We all are aware how Battlefield 2042 has lost a major part of it's audience so the developers are trying to find out the reasons because of which players are shifting to the other games. This update can also be a game changing update as the players would get many notable changes and moreover bug fixes would be done at a great extent. The developers have also confirmed that this time they would be balancing many weapons and characters of the game.

Fans had many expectations from Battlefield 2042 when the game was about to be launched. The developers promised that it would be better than Battlefield 3 and Battlefield 4. Moreover, the game had been set to the futuristic era to make the players more excited for the same. However, when the game was launched, it received mixed responses from the players. Many players even call it the biggest fails of the company in the Battlefield series. Because of this reason, the developers are now bringing in frequent updates for the game to ensure that they are able to improve it.

The developers tried their best to make the game a bit similar to Valorant and Call of Duty. But unfortunately their starting efforts were not enough to make it happen. So, they are bringing out various updates since the last few months to improve the game to a great extent. They have also been successful to do the same but there are many more things which are left to be improved. Here we would be having a look at the improvements made by the developers in the version 4.1 update which is about to be launched.

Patch notes

Let us now have a look at some improvements which the developers have made to the game through the update. This update has been launched to the game today, i.e., 19 May and the developers have made many bug fixes and Quality of Life improvements to the game. The notes which have been provided in the patch update are as follows-

• Boria's SG 36 Sentry Gun power has been reduced in the game.

• Players will no longer be able to take Armor plates from Angel via his supply bag.

• Base recoil has been improved for the stock weapons. Weapon recoil provided by attachments has also been changed slightly.

• New setups have been added to the All-out weapon playlists. Because of that, Breakthrough 128 has been removed from the list of Xbox Series X S, PlayStation 5 and PC. 

The developers also provided information about the things which they would be launching in the next update. They have confirmed that the next update would schedule the beginning of the Season 1. They also said that more information regarding the same would be provided before the update gets officially launched. Therefore, these announcements are playing an important role to ensure that the players will be coming back to the game.

General Updates

Now we would be having a look at some general updates which have been launched by the developers in the game. These updates are as follows-

• Players had issues with the Vehicle aim Sensitivity and Transport Vehicle Freelook Sensitivity controls as their changes were not applied effectively. Now the developers have made changes to the same so that it can be applied effectively.

• Increased and improved aim assist on moving targets making it easier for the players to aim.

• Now aim assist would not be locking itself on the targets through the thin obstacles.

• When the players were not Ranking up, they usually saw the screen which showed "You have been promoted". Now this screen won't be shown to the players.

• Earlier players experienced a lot of lag issues in the game which have now been reduced.
