Stalwart Esports crowned as PMPL South Asia 2022 Spring Champions

The final day of PMPL South Asia 2022 spring has finally come to an end. The team of Stalwart Esports were successful in winning the tournament through their consistent gameplay in all of the matches played in the grand finals. Therefore, in this way they also showed the domination of Mongolian teams at a good level. By the end of the grand finals of the tournament, they had a total of 234 points along with 104 eliminations with a total of 4 chicken dinners. So, this has helped the team to show their dominance in the tournament among the others.

 

The second place of the tournament went to the team of Deadeyes Guys who had a total of 215 points in the leaderboard. Their performance was also consistent just like the team of Stalwart Esports but they missed sometimes due to which they missed the first position. The team of Trained to Kill followed them way too closely and ended the tournament at the third position. Unfortunately they missed the second position with just a margin of 3 points. They had secured a total of 4 chicken dinners in the grand finals but unfortunately they were eliminated early in a few matches.

On the other hand, the IHC Esports were on the top of the leaderboard and slipped down a lot on the final day of the tournament. They had a few matches where unfortunately they got eliminated early due to which they ended the tournament at the 4th spot. The team of DRS Gaming and High Voltage were among the teams which had the highest support from the fans but unfortunately the finals did not go as they expected for them to. They ended the grand finals at 8th and 9th positions respectively and have fortunately made their place for the PMPL South Asia Championship 2022.

 

Teams qualified for PMPL South Asia Championship

Let us now have a look at the teams which have qualified for the PMPL South Asia Championship from the grand finals of the tournament. The top ten teams are confirmed to be selected for the PMPL South Asia Championship and would be joining other teams from the region soon for the battle. So, the teams which have been qualified for the tournament are as follows-

Therefore, these are the ten teams which have qualified for the PMPL South Asia Championship from the grand finals of the tournament. The teams which were not able to have themselves qualified for the same might be receiving some more chances for the same in the near future.

 

Final day Highlights

The third day of the grand finals entirely changed the points table for the fans. First match of the day was being played in the Erangel map and the team of Deadeyes Guys were able to win the same with a total of 15 eliminations in the game. Turulovesir had been crowned as the MVP as he took 6 frags. 

 

The second match was way too intense in the end zone where Stalwart Esports were able to defy the odds and win the game with a total of 13 kills. They took a good fight against the team of Skylightz Gaming and DRS Gaming both to ensure that they take more frags in the game. 

 

The team of Trained to Kill secured the match which was being played in Sanhok to get a total of 17 kills in it. The next match of the grand finals saw the domination of the team of 7Sea Esports and they won the game with a massive total of 19 eliminations. Memo from the team was able to be the star player as he took a total of 9 frags alone for the team.

 

The team of Stalwart Esports again showed their best performance by winning the 5th match at Miramar with a total of 13 eliminations. This became their 4th overall chicken dinner in the grand finals. In the last match of the tournament, the team of Deadeyes Guys won with a total of 15 kills.
