Will Grand Prix map be back in Modern Warfare 2?

A new leak of Modern Warfare 2 has revealed the Grand Prix map making a reappearance in the game. A couple of days ago, we reported on a possible return of the Grand Prix map for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2's multiplayer mode. Now, thanks to a new leak from our friends at MP1st, we have more information about this potential return.

The leaked images show that you can drive through the streets of Paris during the race and then get out to fight enemies on foot. There are also several locations around the city that you can explore during your drive through. The new map, which first appeared in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, is coming back.

In a new leak from the Official Call of Duty channel on YouTube, it has been revealed that the Grand Prix map will be appearing in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. The new leak reveals that the map will be called "Grand Prix," and will feature a number of different locations within a race track. It's unclear whether this is an early version of the map or something completely new, but either way it will be great to see returning from MW2. The Grand Prix map is back and better than ever.

Modern Warfare 2's multiplayer, which was released into the wild on Tuesday, has been a big hit among fans of the Call of Duty series. But it wasn't all that popular with critics — if anything, they were more critical than fans. One big complaint was the lack of a single-player campaign, which some people felt robbed the game of its best asset. The solution: Make a new one. And they did. We've got an exclusive look at it now.

We're still a few weeks away from Modern Warfare 3, but Infinity Ward is already hard at work on the next installment in the series — and it has been confirmed that this new game will have an online component as well as single-player missions like those found in previous games in the series.

The leaked images (one above and two below) show off what appears to be some sort of grand prix racing event taking place on an open road with lots of high-speed turns and dead ends. The images also appear to show off several different types of vehicles that players can use to race around their courses."

Dataminer reveals information

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is a first-person shooter video game developed by Infinity Ward, published by Activision. It was released for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Microsoft Windows platforms in November 2009. The game takes place during the near future in a world where countries have begun to experience terrorism at an unprecedented scale.

The game's story continues from Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, and focuses on the conflicts between Russia and the United States, with other countries involved in supporting one side or another, including China and Iran. In addition to conventional warfare, several new gameplay modes are also introduced, such as cooperative play and campaign co-op.

The single-player campaign is set across 25 missions spread out over five different locations in Eastern Europe, Central Asia, and South America; each mission has multiple objectives that must be completed before being able to move onto the next one. The player assumes control of Captain Price as he fights through North Korea in an attempt to rescue his friend Sergeant Foley from captivity prior to escaping into Russia using his UH-1Y Venom helicopter.

A Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 map dataminer has leaked two new maps for the game. The first is a remake of the original Modern Warfare's Grand Prix map, while the second is an updated version of Nuketown. The leaked files are available on Reddit, but they're not hosted on their site so we can't download them ourselves. However, one user on Reddit posted photos from the files that show what appears to be a screenshot from the new Grand Prix map and its box art.

We don't know what these maps will look like in-game, but we do know that they're based on older maps from MW2. It's likely that these maps will play out very similarly to how they did in MW2, but with added features like weather effects like rain or snow.
