Guide to join tricolor battle in Splatoon 3

Splatoon 3 is a multiplayer game that has been around for quite some time. It has had a lot of updates and new content since its initial release, which makes it all the more interesting. One of the biggest additions to Splatoon 3 was the Tricolor Battles (also known as Turf War) mode where teams of four players take turns trying to cover as much ground on their team’s turf as possible by splatting ink on the floor with their Inkzooka weapons.

The first rule of Turf War is that you must be on the same team if you want to win. There are no exceptions! So if you have a friend who also plays Splatoon 3, there’s no reason why they shouldn’t join you in your quest for victory! To join a Tricolor Battle, you’ll need to open up Splatoon 2 and head over to the Splatfest tab. From there, you can select any of the current events, or even create your own by using the “Create Your Own Splatfest” option found on the main menu.

Once you’ve selected an event, select “Join a Splatfest” and then choose your preferred color — red, blue, or green — depending on which team you want to take part in. Once you’ve chosen your team, you can start playing! If you’d like more information about how to play Splatoon 2 multiplayer modes like Splatfests and Turf War, check out our guides here!

Joining the Tricolor Battle in Splatoon 3

The Tricolor Splatfest is back in Splatoon 3, and this time it’s a battle to see who can change their Inkling’s color the most during the game. It’s a pretty simple concept, but there are some things that you may need to know if you want to join in.

How does it work?

The Tricolor Battle works like any other Splatfest. The two teams will be battling it out for points until one team has accumulated enough points to win, or until at least one hour has passed. Once this happens, all players will receive an item called “Splatfodder” which allows them to change their Inkling’s color for the next few minutes. If your team wins, you get more points than if your team loses.

Splatoon 3 is an online multiplayer shooter game with a twist. Instead of fighting for your life against other players, you go head-to-head against ink and try to cover up the entire map in your team’s color. The game places you in a world where anything can happen, and that includes going on missions with other players.

Splatfests are competitions to see which team can cover more territory with their ink in a specific time limit. There are two types of splatfests: Ranked and Private. Ranked splatfests are only available to people who have gone through a trial period, while private ones can be joined by anyone who has purchased a special pass (which costs money). The first Splatoon 3rd Splatfest was held back in July 2021 but we’re still waiting for another one.

Splatoon 3's Splatfest is all about taking the fight up to your opponents, and the Tricolor Battle is no different. You'll be able to choose between a red, yellow and blue team in an attempt to splatter as much ink as possible across the map. There are six stages of battle: Octo Valley, Tower Base, Inkopolis Square, Manta Maria, Grizzco Industries and Inkopolis Plaza. Each stage has four rounds where you'll have three minutes each to splatter as much ink as possible. The team with the most points after all six rounds wins.

The first round begins with an octopus that you can use to splat enemies and draw them toward your team's color pool. The second round involves an Inkling wearing a special mask that can only be used by one player per team at a time. This round is similar to the third in past Splatfests but with different objectives: you'll need to cover as many parts of the map with your colors as possible while avoiding being splatted yourself by enemies who are doing their best not to get splattered themselves! Inkopolis Plaza is where it really gets interesting; here there are several platforms that rise into the air.
