Why BGMI Lite should be launched in India?

PUBG Mobile and PUBG Mobile Lite were banned in India in September 2020 and since then the players waited for the game to come back. Both of these games were equally popular in the country but the developer company Krafton launched Battlegrounds Mobile India in the country and has yet not made any official announcements on whether BGMI Lite would be launched in the country or not. All of the PUBG Mobile Lite fans are waiting for a long time to get the announcement from the officials. Also, the players have started demanding BGMI Lite by spreading “We Want BGMI Lite” among the BGMI YouTube channels.

Many BGMI streamers and also the content creators have revealed that BGMI Lite would be launched soon in the country but it has been a time since we heard about the same from the officials. There are a number of reasons why Krafton should be looking forward to launching the Lite variant of Battlegrounds Mobile India and it can also be guaranteed that it may replace the success that PUBG Mobile Lite achieved in India. Recently, BGMI held many polls and other discussions through forms on whether BGMI Lite should be launched or not but still there is no response from the developer's side for the same. Here are the reasons why BGMI Lite should be launched in India-

BGMI Formula

The developers of PUBG Mobile launched BGMI for its Indian fans to ensure that the game does not remain banned in the country. BGMI was successfully able to replace PUBG Mobile and it crossed more than 50 million downloads in the country. So, having a look at the success of BGMI, the developers must think of launching BGMI Lite in the country as it has now been one of the most awaited games in the country.

The developers also allowed the players of PUBG Mobile to transfer their accounts to BGMI. PUBG Mobile Lite players have also spent huge amounts of money on their game accounts so they also want the game to be launched as soon as possible. Also, this is the best time to launch the game as it has been more than a year since it has been banned. If the developers make it too late to launch the game, the players may lose interest in the game.

The right time to get the Free Fire audience

Free Fire recently has been banned by the government of India along with 53 other applications due to security reasons. So, all of the Free Fire players would be looking forward to shifting to some other game. In case Garena Free Fire would not have been banned, then it would have affected the level of success that BGMI Lite would achieve in the country. Now, since Free Fire has been banned, this is the right time for Krafton to launch BGMI Lite as they will also be able to acquire the audience of Free Fire within a few days of the launch of the game.

Free Fire was mostly played by people who had low-end devices and since it has been banned, players cannot play Free Fire Max or Battlegrounds Mobile India. Both of these games require high-end devices to run them smoothly. The last option which they would be having to shift their game is BGMI Lite when it gets launched. It would also be one of the best Battle Royale games for all the low-end devices.

No Better game for low-end devices

There are many Battle Royale games that are available for high-end devices but very few of them are made for low-end ones. Also, the ones which are present for low-end devices are not as good as PUBG Mobile Lite was in the form of graphics and many other things. So, in the end, all of the low-end device users won’t be having a much better option than BGMI Lite. Moreover, all the Indian gamers comprise people using low-end devices mostly having 3GB or 4GB of RAM. So, this audience would be the potential targets of BGMI Lite when it would be launched as they are mostly the players who used to play PUBG Mobile Lite earlier. Therefore, there are high chances that BGMI Lite would be able to replicate the success of PUBG Mobile Lite in India.
