Scout receives Fan-Favourite player in PMWI 2022 Afterparty Showdown

Finally, the After-party Showdown of PUBG Mobile World Invitational 2022 has come to an end. This was a great tournament and it saw a total of 12 teams from different parts of the world compete for a massive prize pool of 1 million dollars. The tournament had a total of seven invited teams out of which 7Sea Esports was also invited from India by winning the first official LAN event. The remaining five teams joined the tournament being the top 5 teams of the Main Event of the tournament which had a prize pool of 2 million dollars.

There were a total of 18 matches which had been played in this phase of the tournament. The team of 7Sea Esports gave their best performance till the end and finished at the 9th position in the overall standings. Vampire Esports maintained their domination in both the phases of the tournament which helped them to be crowned as the winners of both Main Event and the After-party Showdown. It was indeed a great tournament for the Indian teams as they got to learn many things about the International Esports scenario. As the team didn't had good International experience, they were unable to perform well in the beginning.

Scout, who has been in the International Esports scenario of PUBG Mobile helped the team to regain their momentum towards the end of the tournament. 7Sea Esports took a total of 71 thousand US dollars of the prize pool with them which is equal to approximately 57 lakhs in Indian rupees. Scout was crowned as the Fan favourite player of the entire tournament and he took 10 thousand US dollars of the prize pool for the same. This tournament saw the developers to distribute the prize pool in a more interesting way due to which the teams were able to get a good chunk of the same.

The official Esports page of PUBG Mobile made a post regarding the fan favourite player asking the fans to like the comment of their favourite players. Only the players participating in the tournament were allowed to comment to their names on the same. Scout's comment was the most liked of them all due to which he has been crowned as the Fan Favourite player of the tournament. This was a great moment for Scout as he made his comeback to the International Esports scenario after years.

7Sea Esports performance

Let us now have a look at the performance of 7Sea Esports in the tournament. The team started off the tournament with high hopes in the first Showdown match as Scout helped the team to get the win by making a clutch against the team of Stalwart Esports. But afterwards, the team had completely struggled to maintain their survival in the matches as they got eliminated early due to some or the other mistakes. It was clear that the team suffered as they did not had any international experience in PUBG Mobile Esports.

The team had just collected a total of 10 points on the first day of the tournament. The 2nd day saw an improvement in the team's performance as they collected a total of 24 points from the six matches which they had played. They also made podium finishes in a total of two matches during the Day 2. Unfortunately, this was not enough to help the team improve their tournament rankings as they still ended the 2nd day at the 12th position. The team made their major improvements towards the third day of the tournament.

7Sea Esports collected a total of 29 kills and 45 points in the final day of the tournament. This also had one win which the team secured during the 5th match of the day with a total of 10 kills. The team could have secured another consecutive win in the tournament but unfortunately they failed to win the final fight against the team of Vampire Esports in the last match of the tournament. Therefore, 7Sea Esports had made a comeback to the tournament and gave the performance which the fans had expected the team to give against the other top teams.
