PMWI 2022 Main Event Day 1 Highlights

The first day of PUBG Mobile World Invitational 2022 came to an end a few hours ago. All of the top teams from different parts of the world gave their best performance but a few were outstanding during the day. Currently, the teams are fighting against each other in the Main Event of the tournament which is having a total prize pool of 2 million US dollars. By the end of Day 1, it was the team of Vampire Esports who dominated the overall standings of the tournament. They are currently having a total of 86 points on the leaderboard.

Stalwart Esports remained consistent with their performance in the tournament yet again. Fans had much expectations from the team and they also received support from Indian fans after the collaboration with GodLike Esports. They are holding the 2nd position in the tournament till now with a total of 83 points. Now they are looking forward to make a comeback in the Day 2 and secure the top position as quickly as possible. The third position is being held by the team of Falcon Esports with a total of 74 points. So, there is not much points difference between the Top 3 teams.

The fourth spot is being held by the team of Donuts USG with a total of 55 points. They need to cover up the gap during the upcoming matches to ensure that they are able to come under the table toppers. Indian fans had much expectations from Team Soul as they have entered the International tournament after years. But it seemed unfortunate as Team Soul was not able to build up their momentum during the first day of the tournament. So, they have currently ended the Day 1 at the 13th position and would be looking forward to make a comeback soon.

Match Highlights

The first match of the tournament was being played in the Erangel Map. Vampire Esports who are known for their domination in the Thailand region. Therefore, they showed their domination in this match as the team took a whopping 24 kills and Chicken dinner in the first match. This match helped them to collect a total of 39 points from the game. The second position was bagged by the team of Box Gaming with a total of 2 frags. Stalwart Esports secured the third position with a total of 5 kills.

The second match of the day was being played on the Miramar map. This match was dominated by the team of TJB EU as we all know they are the masters of Miramar. The team secured the win with a total of 12 kills. They had the final fight against the team of Falcon Esports where they were able to take the win easily. The team of Stalwart Esports again maintained their consistent performance and took the third position with a total of 6 eliminations. Team Soul did not performed well in this match as they were eliminated during a drop clash.

The next match was being played in Sanhok, which is also known as the map of Snakes. Team Morph showed their patient gameplay in this match as they secured the win with a total of 7 kills. The team of Vivo Keyd performed their best but still missed the win. They had collected a total of 20 points from this match which helped them to push up in the points table of the tournament. Again it was the team of Stalwart Esports who maintained their consistent performance with a total of 4 kills as they secured the third position.

The fourth match was probably the most intense matches of the tournament till now. This match was being played in Erangel and the final circle came near Pochinki, making the fights more intense than the fans expected. Donuts USG were able to win the game with a total of 6 kills. But it was the team of Vampire Esports who secured the top position in the match leaderboard as they had 13 eliminations.
