COD Vanguard Season 4 Patch Notes

Here's what's new in the latest Call of Duty Vanguard update.

New multiplayer maps:

Shi No Numa - A new map for Team Deathmatch and Domination modes. The map is a large open area on top of a hill with a small village and an airstrip. It includes a number of buildings and structures that can be used to your advantage or against you during matches. There are also multiple paths throughout the map allowing players to flank their opponents or find alternate routes that lead to more advantageous positions than those they already occupy.

Meadows - A new map for Team Deathmatch and Domination modes. The map is an open grassy field in an urban area, surrounded by tall buildings with small footpaths between them. There are multiple elevated areas surrounding these footpaths, but they do not provide much cover from gunfire from other directions. In addition to shooting at each other or using explosives, players can rappel down from these raised areas into the streets below for some close-range combat against foes trying to get past them towards their targets!

The fourth season of Call of Duty: Vanguard is here. The season begins today with the release of a new map called Shi No Numa. This map is set on a Japanese island in the middle of a war zone where control must be wrested from one side or another. The map is inspired by Call of Duty: Black Ops 4's Nuketown, but with a few twists. Check out our breakdown below.

In addition to Shi No Numa, there are also three new weapons that have been added to the game. The first is an assault rifle called the M16A4 (Assault Rifle) which is best used when you're at medium range because it has good accuracy and can take down enemies quickly. The second weapon is a submachine gun called the MP9 (Submachine Gun) which isn't as powerful as other SMGs but can be used effectively on close-range engagements where you have an advantage over your opponent.

Weapons

Call of Duty Vanguard Season 4 has just launched, and the first patch is now live on PS4 and Xbox One. The patch notes reveal a number of changes to weapons and features.

First off, there are some updates to the game's mechanics. For example, you can now hold down the jump button to perform a double jump. Additionally, you can use the left stick to perform wall runs by tapping it twice at once.

The patch also removes some old content from the Black Market and adds new emotes for players who have unlocked them. This includes static emotes for each weapon category like "first kill," "headshot," "killstreak" etc., as well as dynamic ones like "overheat" or "downed."

Weapon Fixes

-Fixed an issue where the camo system would not work with the MP5K.

-Fixed an issue where kill streaks would not display properly.

-Fixed an issue where kill streak rewards would not apply properly to a player who had previously reached their maximum streak amount.

-Fixed an issue where kill streaks were not awarded correctly when they were triggered twice in rapid succession by two different players.

-Fixed an issue where killstreak rewards could be incorrectly awarded to players who are already at their maximum reward amount.

The following weapons have received some changes:

AKM – Increased the amount of damage it deals to the body and head. Headshot damage multiplier decreased from 1.6x to 1.5x, while body shot multiplier decreased from 2.2x to 2.1x. Damage across all ranges increased slightly.

MP443 – Changed the pellets fired in single-fire mode from 8 to 5 per shot (3 pellets total).

PPSH-41 – Decreased the amount of pellets fired in single-fire mode from 8 to 7 (4 pellets total).

PPSh-41 – Decreased the amount of gunshots fired with a full magazine from 4 to 3 (2 bullets remaining). Removed a bug where reloading would cause players who were killed before their reload animation finished to be stuck with an empty gun after death until they reloaded again or reached their next respawn point.
