What would happen if Herobrine was added back to the game?

If you're an avid Minecraft player, you've probably heard of Herobrine. If not, then you're in for a treat: Herobrine is an entirely fake character invented by Minecraft players, who is often added to the game as a secret coded addition. Although Minecraft creator Notch has never officially stated that Herobrine exists, he does acknowledge that there are people within the Minecraft community who have created programs to insert his character into the game.

In fact, Herobrine is so popular that many players say that his addition to the game would be a huge mistake on the part of Mojang. This is because many players superstitiously believe that adding Herobrine to the game would "ruin" it for them—that it would ruin their gameplay experience or fundamentally change the way they perceive Minecraft.

If Herobrine was added to Minecraft for the 1.19 release, I'm fairly certain that we would see a drop in sales as the game is suddenly invaded by thousands of skeptics who have been looking for evidence of his existence since 2010. Unsurprisingly, they would all be disappointed: Herobrine is not in Minecraft, and has never been in Minecraft.

Here's why:

  1. Minecraft's creator, Markus Persson (also known as Notch), created Herobrine as a joke when he was working on Infdev on February 25, 2010. He used the most basic character model possible to represent him because he didn't want to add anything new to the game at the time. When Notch found out that some people thought Herobrine was real, he decided to leave him in the game as a hidden character.

  1. Herobrine has never been an actual part of Minecraft; he's only visible via a glitch if players use mods to modify their game files and then load their worlds up in an older version of Minecraft that still contains Herobrine (1.7 or lower). Notch removed him from the game with the release of version 1.8 and vowed to never add him back.

Possible consequences of Herobrine being added in Minecraft 1.19

With the recent release of Minecraft 1.19, the game received a new mob: Herobrine. This mob is based on a creepypasta that was made up around 2010, with his name being derived from the "brothers" part of Notch's name (Markus Persson). The story behind Herobrine is that he was a fellow developer who worked with Notch but, after a falling out, he left and has been haunting Minecraft ever since.

The new update added Herobrine to Minecraft, but only as a joke. He can't hurt players, and he only appears in spectator mode. However, the change to the code allows for him to be added into the main game in future updates; it's just a matter of time before he is added as an actual mob.

The most interesting addition in this update is the new underwater biome. This is a very different environment than the standard stone and dirt terrain that encompasses most of the game. While there are undersea ruins that possess chests full of loot and skeletons to mine, there are also exotic creatures like dolphins, urchins, and giant squid. Dolphins will even help you out if you get stuck in a hole in the ground! The only drawback is that it can be hard to find treasure since water needs to be at least four blocks deep before it will spawn any. If you're looking for some great action under the sea, look for an ocean monument (the lost temples) or a shipwreck—there's plenty of good stuff down there!

There are several consequences of Herobrine being added to the game. Some players may report seeing him when they play in multiplayer. Some people may become frightened by seeing him and will not want to play anymore. Other people may harass other players and say things like, "Herobrine is watching you!" This may affect the player's experience with Minecraft, especially if they see Herobrine and become frightened or annoyed.

If Herobrine is added, then there will be many different opinions about this decision by Mojang. Many people will love it because it's interesting and fun, but others might dislike it because it ruins the purity of Minecraft. Mojang will have to decide whether they want to add Herobrine or not.
