Unknown facts about Minecraft Frogs

Minecraft is about to receive it's new update in the next few days and this update would add tons of new content to the game. The fans had been waiting for the developers to launch this update to the game as soon as possible but the developers had a lot of things to improve due to which they launched multiple snapshots for this update in the Beta version. Each snapshot brought out tons of new things and many bug fixes which the developers had to do to ensure that they bring out the best when they launch the most awaited, Minecraft Wild Update. This time the developers have again added many new biomes and structures to the game and also they have added some new mobs too.

These mobs include the Warden, Frogs and also the Allays. Warden has been the main highlight of the update and would be the most dangerous mobs which the players could ever encounter in the game. Along with that, the developers have also added Frogs to the game this time and these mobs would be available to them at different swamp biomes. Frogs would be spawned by hatching themselves from a Frogspawn to the tadpole and then becoming a Frog. Also, these are passive mobs which means that they would not be attacking the players in the game. Here are some important facts which you need to know about the Frogs in Minecraft.

Frog Variants

The developers will be bringing out a total of three different frog variants to the game depending on the place where a tadpole would be reaching its adulthood. If the tadpole grows in temperate biomes, the frog would be orange in color and if the tadpole grows in cold climate like the Snow biomes, then the tadpole would be of Green color and in warm biomes the Frog would be of White color. These are the different varieties of Frogs which the players would be able to find in the game.

Frogs Create Slimeballs

Frogs would be the passive mobs in the game but they need to eat from time to time to ensure that they remain alive. So, the Frogs in the game prefer eating Small slimes through which they are able to drop Slimeballs whenever the players kill them. The Frogs are able to kill the Small slimes at a long range as we all know they would be attacking them with their long tongue. If the players have picked up the Slimeballs from the Frogs, they can even feed them back with the same through which they would be able to breed two frogs together.

Frogs Create Froglights

The developers have added another new block to the game which is known as the Froglights. As the name suggests, this block would be providing light to the players in the game. The Froglights would only be created if the Frogs have eaten Small Magma cubes in the same way in which they ate the Small slimes. If the Frogs have done the same, the players would be able to create Froglights of different colors.

They can leashed with Leads

In Minecraft, the players are able to carry the mobs with them by using a Lead. So, like any other mob, the players would also be able to carry the Frogs in the game along with them through the leads in the game. However, the leads are a rare item in the game and can be mostly found in chests. But the leads would be helpful to the players if they want to carry the Frogs to the desired location. As the frogs can't be tamed, we can keep them together with us in the game.

They take reduced Fall Damage

The best part about Frogs is that they have a reduced Fall Damage in the game. Most of the passive mobs in the game take low heights to die by Fall Damage but fortunately that is not going to be the case with the Frogs in the game. Frogs are similar to Goats if we have a look at their Fall Damage as the Frogs would also be needed to be dropped from a good height for them to die through Fall Damage.
