Finally, the spring edition of Peacekeeper Elite League came to an end a few hours ago. All of the top Chinese teams gave their best performance in the tournament to ensure that they are able to secure a place in the PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2022 with their points in the country's PMGC leaderboard. The team of RSG made the most unexpected comebacks of the tournament and that too during the last day which helped them to clinch the title and get the prize of 8 million Yuan (equivalent to 1.2 million dollars). The last day of the tournament came out to be an opportunity for the team to rack up as many points as possible before the tournament ends. 

 

They had secured the first position with a total of 211 points in the 20 matches which they had played. 4 Angry Men were expected to come out as the winners of the tournament but the deadly performance given by the team of RSG pushed the team of 4AM to the 2nd spot. The team of 4 Angry Men were resting at the first position till the 3rd day of the finals came to an end. But unfortunately they slipped down and finished the tournament at the 2nd position with a total of 203 points. The team had missed the title of PEL Champions by just a margin of seven points. The team of 4 Angry Men took home the trophy of being the runners up of the tournament with a total prize pool of 448K dollars.

Nova Esports who were the two time PEL Champions and also the two time World Champions maintained their performance in the tournament to end this time at the third position. They did not had a great start to the tournament but made a great comeback which helped them to finish the tournament at the podium with a total of 179 points. Out of these, the team had taken a total of 99 kill points which shows the aggressive gameplay they have put forward to the competition. They were awarded with the titles for the third spot and took with them the prize of 224K dollars. STE Esports thought to make this PEL Spring Championship their second consecutive PEL title win but unfortunately they ended the tournament at the 4th position. All Gamers were able to maintain their performance in the tournament which had helped them to secure the 5th position in the tournament. The Chosen failed to perform well in the finals and finished at the 9th spot.

 

Match Highlights

The first match of the day was being played at the Miramar map. This match was secured by the team of 4 Angry Men as the team had been able to take out the numbers advantage during the game. This match made the fans feel that it would be 4 Angry Men who would be crowned as the champions of the tournament by the end of the day. The Chosen also gave a good performance which helped them to end the game at the 2nd position. LGD Gaming made some mistakes towards the end of the game due to which they had been eliminated at the 3rd spot. Nova Esports did not had a great start as they were only able to get 5 points from the game.

The second match helped Team PAI to get an eight kills chicken dinner during the game. The team thought of giving a passive game but their strategies and skills helped them a lot to get this 8 kill win in the 2nd match. RSG started to make a comeback from the 2nd match as they took a total of 11 points from the game. Nova Esports tried their best to dominate but a few mistakes led to the elimination of the team. They finished the game and collected a total of 12 points from the same. The third match of the day was secured by the team of RSG as they won the match with a total of 11 kills from the same. It was an intense fight between the team of 4AM and the team of RSG where RSG came out to be strong and eliminated 4AM at the 3rd position.
