The finals of the Peacekeeper Elite League commenced a few hours ago. This tournament is being conducted for the Chinese teams to ensure that they are able to get a spot in the upcoming PMGC 2022. There are a total of 15 teams which would be battling against each other to secure the trophy. This tournament is also known to be the PMPL for the Chinese region. The Chinese teams are known to dominate the PUBG Mobile Esports for a long time and due to the game ban issues in the country, Tencent and Krafton organize separate tournaments for the same. All of the teams which qualified for the grand finals showed their performances today and would be looking forward to put more great matches tomorrow.

 

There were a total of five matches which had been played on the first day of the tournament finals. The team of Six Two Eight (STE) Esports dominated the first day and secured the top position in the overall standings. The team had secured a total of 85 points which helped them to clinch the top position. They were successful to secure a total of two wins during the day which helped the team to gather a lot of points. The team of 4 Angry Men did not had a great start to the finals as they were given only one headstart point depending on their performance in the league stages. However, the team made a comeback in the first day of the grand finals and are currently holding the second position with a total of 64 points.

Nova Esports was the team which had the most support from the fans and the team even had a total of 20 headstart points in the grand finals. Still the team failed to perform well in the first day of the grand finals due to which they are currently holding the third position with a total of 49 points. Fans hope that the team would be making a comeback in the next days of the tournament as they know that the team is among the most aggressive teams in the Esports history of PUBG Mobile. The Chosen also showed an average performance which helped the team to get to the sixth position with a total of 39 points. Now they would be looking forward to making a comeback in the few days left for the finals to end. The team of LGD Gaming did not perform well during the day as they were only able to take 16 points of the five matches.

 

Match Highlights

The first match of the day was dominated by the team of Nova Esports. They showed why they are the two time world champions with their aggressive gameplay which helped them to get the top position in the game with a total of 10 eliminations. The final fight was between the teams of Nova Esports, STE and 4AM. At the end, Nova Esports showed a strategic gameplay which helped the team to get the win in the first match.

 

The second match was won by Team PAI as they showed a strategic gameplay in the final circle. The team secured a total of 16 points in the game and took a great fight against Team PeRo in the final circle. The Chosen also gave a dominant performance in the match which helped them to get third position with a total of 7 kills in the game. However, Nova Esports suffered a lot in this match due to which they received an early elimination with just 3 points in the game. 

The third match saw the team of 4 Angry Men defy the odds in the final fight of the game to secure the win. The team was able to secure a total of 21 points through the game which helped them to get a great boost in the points table. It was a 1v2 situation for the team of 4 Angry Men against the team of All Gamers in which 4AM defied the odds to get the win. Team AG secured the 2nd position in the match and took a total of 14 points from the game.
