BMPS Season 1 League Stage Day 2 Highlights

The second day of the Battleground Mobile Pro Series Season 1 came to an end yesterday. Many teams gave their level best to secure a comeback to the tournament. Some teams also remained consistent with their performances that helped them to stick to their positions. Fans had much expectations from Team Soul again this day but the team suffered a lot to give a good performance. Still they were successful to stick to the first position in the tournament. The team had just four matches left for their league stages to come to an end. Fortunately, the team maintained an average performance which helped them to be on the top with 123 points.

Also, they are the only team which has crossed the 100 points mark in the tournament till now. OR Esports also gave a tough competition to the other teams which had helped them to secure the 2nd position in the tournament till now. The team is currently having a total of 98 points on the leaderboard. On the other hand, Team XO made an epic comeback during the day as they secured many wins which helped the team to be on the 3rd position in the leaderboard by the end of the day. They are currently having a total of 88 points on the leaderboard. Now they would be looking forward to give another great performance in the left days of the tournament. The team of Hyderabad Hydras also maintained their performance but unfortunately the team dropped one position in the overall standings. They are now at the 4th position with a total of 86 points.

AceBlack showed a good performance being the IGL of the team and helped the team of Hyderabad Hydras with his strategies to ensure that his team remains consistent. Global Esports also played a dominant performance in the last match of the day which helped them to end up the 2nd day with a total of 79 points. The team currently rests at the 7th position and would be looking forward to improve their position further in the leaderboard. Also, the team of 7Sea Esports gave an improved performance to the other teams in the tournament. This helped the team to move from the bottom teams of the tournament to the 2nd page of the leaderboard. Now it seems that they would be performing their best in the remaining days of the tournament to ensure that they make it to the finals.

Match Highlights

This day saw the team of XO to make an epic comeback to the tournament. They had secured two back to back chicken dinners in the first two matches of the day. Also, the team had secured a total of 23 kills in both of the matches combined which helped them to take a lot of points and jump in the leaderboard. Sensei was awarded as the MVP in the first match while in the second match, Snax showed his insane skills to secure the MVP title. The team of R Esports also gave a dominant performance in the first two matches and were able to take a total of 35 points to their leaderboard.

The third match of the day was secured by the underdog team of Big Brothers Esports. They played aggressively in this match which helped them to secure a 14 finishes chicken dinner. OR Esports gave a great fight in the end circle but unfortunately failed to win the game due to which they finished the match at the 2nd position. The team of Autobotz which was dominant on the first day secured the third position in this match with a passive gameplay.

The fourth match was probably one of the best matches which the fans had experienced on Day 2. This match saw the team of OR Esports show an aggressive gameplay which helped the team to win the game with a massive total of 21 kills. Walkouts and Initiative Esports also gave a good performance as the teams ended up at the 2nd and 3rd positions respectively. However, they both took a total of 18 points each from the game. OR Aditya was awarded as the MVP of the game because he took a total of 8 kills alone in the match.
