PUBG MOBILE reaches 8 Billion dollars in revenue

PUBG Mobile has been one of the most popular battle royale games in today's world. This game has been the reason why mobile Esports is coming to a rise these days. The developers of the game faced a lot of obstacles but were fortunate enough to tackle them all and see the fruitful results. The developers have been working upon the game consistently to ensure that the players enjoy playing the game even after months. However, the game received ban in many countries but still this was unable to hamper the growth of the game in the other countries. PUBG Mobile has been in the list of top-grossing games month after month.

It has been more than 4 years since the game has been launched and the developers have made remarkable improvements to the game till yet. A survey showed the revenue made by the top grossing games in the first quarter of 2022. Honor of Kings had taken the first position in the leaderboard by generating a total of 741 million dollars in the first quarter. The second position went to the global version of PUBG Mobile which had generated a total of 650 million dollars as a revenue in the first quarter of the year. The game generated a total of 235 million dollars in the month of February alone.

Sensor Tower which is a well reputed company that provides information to the users about the revenues generated by the games recently brought out another report showing the revenue generated by PUBG Mobile. The report which had been released by them revealed that the game had recently reached the milestone of 8 Billion dollars as a total revenue this year. It took the developers a total of 4 years to reach this milestone and the numbers are still growing. Most of the revenue which the developers had generated from the game came from the country of China.

We all are aware that China had banned PUBG Mobile a few years ago due to the security issues. But the developers of PUBG Mobile relaunched the game to country with the name Game for Peace. This game is almost same to PUBG Mobile but had a few differences which made it to be known as PUBG Mobile for China. The developers had made a total of 4.7 billion dollars from the Chinese version of the game. The total of 57% of the revenue that had been generated from China came out to be from the player's spendings.

The game also generated a total revenue of 3.5 billion dollars from outside China. Out of this, United States was ranked as the country with the most player spending accounting a total of 11% and Turkey came out to be second with a total of 4% players spendings contributing to the total revenue of the game. All of the shooting games had suffered a lot in the starting of 2022. But fortunately, this was not able to hinder the growth of PUBG Mobile and it still secured the 2nd position to be the top grossing game all over the world.

So, it can be clearly seen that the developers have been successful to make a strong fanbase for the game all over the world. This has also helped the game to secure the 4th position in the list of highest grossing mobile games of all time. Therefore, the developers would be looking forward to make more efforts so that they are able to make PUBG Mobile the highest grossing mobile game of all time. Although it would require a lot of efforts, still the developers would be giving their level best for the same.

Clash of Clans and Monster Strike are the next games which PUBG Mobile has to dethrone in the list. Both of these games have been released much earlier and it won't take much time for PUBG Mobile to dethrone them. Currently, PUBG Mobile has crossed more than 1 billion total downloads and the game also has millions of active users worldwide.
