All you need to know about BMPS 2022

Battleground Mobile India is the most popular battle royale game in the country. This game is launched as a substitute of PUBG Mobile after PUBG Mobile received a ban in the country due to the security issues. Now, Krafton is making consistent efforts to ensure that it is able to bring back the old craze and enjoyment which the players had for the game. Esports tournaments are playing a way too important role in this process. The developers had announced how the Esports tournaments of the game would be going on and how the Indian teams would be able to secure a place in the upcoming PMGC 2022.

We are currently going through an official BGMI tournament which goes by the name BMOC. On the other hand, the developers are also making themselves ready for the next official BGMI tournament which will be called as the BMPS Season 1. Teams have started grinding themselves for the same and they hope to perform great in the tournament. Also, the teams which have been playing the Round 4 of BMOC got an opportunity to get directly qualified for the first season of BMPS. The top six teams from all the groups would be directly qualified for the BMPS Season 1 and wait for the other teams to qualify for the same. The tournament is about to begin in the next few days. Still, Krafton has yet not provided any official announcement regarding the start of the tournament or anything else.

Everything we know so far

There are a number of things which the developers have already revealed about the tournament. They had informed the players about the tournament during the Roadmap 2022 announcement and have also revealed that this tournament would be having a total prize pool of 2 Crore INR. This is the highest prize official Esports tournament being announced in the country. So, Krafton seems to bring many more things for the players later this year.

Many players do not have any idea how significant this tournament would be as compared to the official PUBG Mobile tournaments. It is being said that this tournament would be equivalent to the PUBG Mobile Pro League also known as PMPL. The developers have yet not provided any official date when the tournament would be commencing from. However, if we have a look at different sources from the internet, it is being said that the tournament will begin on 19 May and will come to an end on 12 June.

The players are still advised to wait for any other official announcement from the side of the developers. According to the internet leaks, it seems that the league stages of the tournament will begin on 19 May and last till 5 June. After that, the top team would be qualified for the finals of the tournament. The finals of the tournament are scheduled to begin on June 9 and will last till June 12. Till then, the developers would also have to bring out the best teams to ensure that the tournament goes a success. The top six teams from each group of BMOC Round 4 would be invited to the tournament.
