Finally, the league stages of Peacekeeper Elite League 2022 have ended. All of the teams gave their best efforts to ensure that they are able to make it to the finals. But at the end, only the teams which were able to defy the odds have made it to the grand finals. A total of 15 teams would now be facing each other in the grand finals of the tournament and fight for the top position to become the champions of PEL 2022. This tournament is also having a massive prize pool of $4.12 million. So, having a huge amount at stake surely means that the teams would have to give their level best and secure the title.

 

This was for the first time when the Peacekeeper Elite League included the playoffs stages. And the teams gave their level best to be launched to the grand finals. The grand finals have been scheduled to begin on 19 May and would be lasting till 22 May. There were a total of four rounds which had been played in the playoffs stages of the tournament. And these rounds helped the teams to know whether they can reach the grand finals or not. At the end of the league stages, a total of six teams have been eliminated from the tournament.

So, the fifteen qualified teams would be making the tournament even more intense as they will be giving a tough competition to each other in the Grand finals. Moreover, the qualified teams have been given a headstart this time in the grand finals. The headstart points have been given to the teams depending on the performance they had shown in the league stages of the tournament. So, the tournament had been made more interesting this time and the players have started grinding to ensure that they would be able to do their best in the grand finals.

These are the fifteen teams which would be facing each other in the grand finals of the tournament. Fans are again having high expectations from the team of NOVA Esports. They are known to be the most aggressive teams all over the world and have also won the world title a total of two times. They have also given a dominant performance in the league stages of the tournament and because of that, they have also received the highest headstart in the grand finals of the tournament. They would be beginning the grand finals with a total of 20 points given to them as a headstart. So, they are most likely to come out again as the winners of the tournament.

 

The team of LGD gaming gave an average performance in the league stages of the tournament and ended at the 11th position. Now they would be looking forward to make a comeback in the grand finals of the tournament and become a contender for the trophy. The Chosen is also in the race of being the winners of the PEL 2022 as they had secured the 2nd place in the playoffs. Due to this reason, they have been given a lot of points as a headstart for the grand finals. So, they can take out the advantage of these headstart points and secure the win in the grand finals of the tournament.

 

The team of ACT performed below the expectations of the fans this time in the tournament as they ended the regular season at the last position. But fortunately, the team made a comeback in the playoffs which helped them to clinch the ticket to the grand finals of the tournament. The team of 4AM have not been consistent with their performance since the last year and have been looking for opportunities to make a comeback
