Genshin Impact is about to receive some minor changes to the game through the maintenance which is currently going on. Players have been waiting for this thing for a long time as they know the version 2.7 update would be delayed upto many weeks. Still the developers have been trying their level best to ensure that they keep on adding new things to the game before the final update gets launched. The update has been delayed due to some unknown reasons but the data miners have stated that the update has been delayed due to the COVID spread in the country of China.

Another thing for which the players had been waiting is for the downtime of Serenitia's Pot to get over. Due to this reason, players are unable to interact with the teapot since past few days. Now it seems that the developers have revealed till what time the downtime of the same would continue and also the developers are offering compensation to the players for waiting extra. Players would be able to collect the Realm currency which is offered through the events as a compensation so that the players get something great for their wait. But there are many things which the players might have probably missed with the Teapot.

The developers have added many new things to the game for the Teapot mechanics to look better. Players might not have noticed the building and home management which has been added to the same. But the players still not have any idea regarding the date at which the downtime for the same would be coming to an end. Recently, the developers have added a new event to the game which goes by the name Spices of the West event. Through this event, the players have now got an idea at which date the downtime would be coming to an end.

Serenitia's Pot Return

Players had been waiting for the return of the Serenitia's Pot in the game for a long time. Now it seems that the developers have heard what the players wanted and they would be returning the same to the players soon. Since the version 2.6 update had been extended by the developers, players even thought that it is now not easy for them to get their hands on the Serenitia's Pot. Many of the players even thought that the downtime for the same would now never be coming to an end.

But the developers are well aware how to give surprises to the players. They have recently added a new event to the game which is the Spices from the West event. This event is about to begin on 14 May and it even looks like this event would be putting an end to the downtime of the Serenitia's Pot. Therefore, there are high chances that it would be featuring the Teapot in some way or the other. If you do not know, this event is related to a researcher who came from Sumeru and goes by the name Nazafarin. She conducts different experiments on the spices to check out their effects.

There are high chances that this event would be similar to the cooking events which had been previously launched to the game. However, this event might have some changes which makes it different from the other one's. The only major change which is expected to be in here is that the players would be able to do their own changes and do tests on their meals to make it more delicious. It is necessary for the players to use their own ingredients and also have a good time management to fill up the pot with the ingredients.

There are many things which the players would be able to get as a reward through this event and it even includes Primogems. Also, the chef's would be given items to have Weapon Enchantments along with EXP. This is the best time for the players to collect items between the delay of the updates and get whatever they want when the update gets launched. This event is about to begin on 14 May and will be lasting till 7 June.
