BGMI was one of the most loved games all over the country. It had lot of feelings and emotions of the fans attached with the game. But unfortunately, the game was banned again by the Government of India due to the security reasons. It has been a long time since the game has been banned and since then the gamers have been waiting for the developers to relaunch the game again in the country. But as we all know, it has been a very long time since it has been banned. The game was removed from Google Play Store and Apple App Store on 28 July 2022.

The developers provided an official notice after the ban saying that they would be doing full efforts to ensure that game is back in the country. But it has been a long time since they have provided any information on the same. There are numerous articles or videos which can be found on the Internet telling the fans about the dates at which the game would be relaunched in the country. The fans should know that none of these dates are true and they should not believe in them until or unless an official notice is given out by the developers.

Ocean Sharma is one of the most popular casters in the entire BGMI and PUBG Mobile community. He has cast many official tournaments and is connected with the developers of the game. He is also known to be the best tournament commentator all over the world and his energetic casting develops a lot of intensity in the matches. Recently, Ocean Sharma had an interview and over there a lot of things were discussed about the Indian Gaming Community and its future. He also gave his views on the growing Esports scenario in India.

Ocean’s views regarding Indian Esports

In the interview, Ocean was asked numerous questions about the Indian Gaming Community. We all know that the growth of Indian Esports was at its peak during BGMI Esports tournaments. So, the interviewer asked Ocean about the ban impact of BGMI and whether it was similar to that of PUBG Mobile or not. To this question, Ocean Sharma replied by saying that last time when the game was banned, there were absolutely no hopes that it would be able to make a comeback to the country. But this time the developers are making constant efforts to ensure that the game is relaunched and the fans can play it again.

Ocean Sharma also reacted upon the companies who have started supporting the Indian Esports scenario. He praised BGMI by saying that it helped the Esports recognition in India to grow to a great level. Red Bull and other companies have now also emerged helping the Esports scenario in the country to grow by sponsoring the tournaments in the best way they could. Recently, Red Bull MEO's 5th edition had been conducted and Ocean said that it is probably the best edition of the tournament series which have taken place till now.

Ocean Sharma is happy that this time the developers have taken the ban of the game as a serious notice and are working repeatedly for the game to come back. Along with that, he even told the fans how the Esports system in the country had been affected after the ban of the game. Last time when Indian teams played in the PUBG Mobile World League 2020, we were successful to secure the 2nd position in the tournament. The team of Orange Rock Esports and players like Scout, Aditya, Jonathan performed their best in the global level.

But after the game's ban yet again this time the Indian Esports players are suffering. It is not clear whether the Indian teams would be able to compete for the Global Championship or not. We all know that the Global Championship has begun and it will be taking us to the league stages soon. But there is no information whether the Indian teams would be able to participate in the same or whether the game would be back in the country till that time or not. Ocean Sharma also said that the game would be back for sure as there are many things going on in the back-end.
