BMOC The Grind Finals Day 1 Highlights

The first day of Battlegrounds Mobile Open Challenge The Grind finals came to an end and all of the finalist teams have given their best performance in the same. This is just a warm-up or practice tournament for the first official BGMI tournament in 2022. The team of Orangutan who were not able to perform well during the initial stages of the tournament made their comeback at the finals. They have secured the first position by the end of day 1 and are having a total of 101 points along with 49 finishes. Now, they would be looking to maintain their performance for the next few days.

Team Soul who are the fan favorites again gave an impressive performance during the first day and they are currently resting at the 2nd position. The team bagged a total of 79  points during the day with a total of 37 finishes. They would be looking forward to making a comeback during the 2nd day and regaining the top position which they have currently lost to the team of Orangutan. The team of Global Esports also gave their best performance during the day and ended with 69 points in the third position. They were also able to get a total of 29 kills.

GodLike Esports which has been the most aggressive team of the tournament was not able to get many points during the day as they ended at the 5th position. Still, they were able to secure a total of 36 kills which shows the aggressive gameplay they have put into the game. On the other hand, Team XO also gave their level best during the first day and ended at the 4th position with 57 points. Team XSpark which is another fan-favorite team was not able to perform well as they ended at the 11th position with a total of 34 points.

Match Highlights

The first match of the day was being played on the Erangel map. The end zone of this match came out to show an intense fight against the teams of Soul, XO, and Orangutan. Team Soul and Orangutan’s fight gave a clear advantage to the team of XO which allowed them to make an open push and win the game with ten kills.

The second match of the day came out to be the comeback of the team of Skylightz Gaming as they won the game with a total of eight frags. The team of Global Esports played aggressively as they took a total of 12 kills in the 2nd place and the team of Hyderabad Hydras also played well to secure third place. 

The third match of the day was being played on the forested map of Sanhok. This match was secured by the team of Godlike Esports with the help of their aggressive gameplay as they won the game with a total of eight eliminations. Team XSpark also gave their best performance in the game and ended in 3rd place with a total of 5 kills.

The fourth match came out to be the best match for Team Soul as they were able to secure the win with a total of 9 eliminations. Their final fight went against OR Esports where the strategies of Team Soul were enough to help them win. Orangutan also gave a good performance with the help of Ash who secured 5 frags alone in the game.

The fifth match came out to be a turning point in the points table as Orangutan went way too aggressive through their strategies. They secured a total of 18 kills in the game which led them to the victory. Akop was the most important player behind this performance as he alone had secured a total of 10 eliminations during the game.

The last match was also won by the team of Orangutan Esports with a total of 14 kills. This match also helped them to be the first team to cross 100 points in the finals. The fifth match was enough to boost the confidence of the team because of which they were able to get a sweet victory yet again. Akop from Orangutan had secured the first position among the list of top 5 players during the day with 19 eliminations.
