Games which could be added to PlayStation Plus

The PlayStation Plus service is reportedly adding Final Fantasy 7 Remake and Assassin’s Creed titles in July 2022. The latest issue of Game Informer suggests that Sony will be adding new games to the PlayStation Plus service starting in July 2022, including Final Fantasy VII Remake, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey and Kingdom Hearts III.

Sony has yet to officially announce the release date for these games, but it has been suggested that they could be part of the ‘Free Games with Subscription’ plan. This would allow gamers who subscribe to PS Plus to access a selection of free games each month.

The magazine also reports that there are plans for a new version of God of War that includes multiplayer features as well as a limited edition exclusive collector’s edition with an art book and soundtrack CD.

The PlayStation Store is showing two new games for the service next month, according to a user on Reddit. The first is said to be Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade, which will also include all of the DLC. The second is an Assassin’s Creed title that has yet to be revealed. This would follow up on the release of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey earlier this year, which was also part of the subscription program.

According to sources, Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade will cost $40 while Assassin’s Creed will cost $10 per month or $60 per year.

The PlayStation Plus members program is set to add a new feature in July 2022. The service will be adding a new game called FFVII Remake Intergrade and multiple Assassin’s Creed titles.

The details are based on a leaked image of the service’s update schedule. According to the image, which was shared by Reddit user kotaku_gaming, the PS Plus members program will be adding FF7 Remake Intergrade, Assassin’s Creed games, and more in July 2022.

The three titles listed are Assassin’s Creed hits such as Assassin’s Creed Origins, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey and the original Assassin’s Creed Unity. The new entry in the series is due out on October 5th, 2020 while Odyssey and Unity launch on October 5th and October 7th respectively.

Games leaked to be launched on PS Plus & Premium

July is an exciting month for PlayStation fans. Not only will there be a new God of War game on PlayStation Plus, but we'll also be getting a bunch of great games that have been added to the premium service.

Here's everything we know about these games so far:

God of War: Ascension – July 17

As the last entry in Sony Santa Monica's popular action adventure series, God of War: Ascension looks to continue its story with Kratos trying to save his wife and daughter from a corrupt god. Starring Kratos as he travels through realms uniting all the forces who oppose him in order to save his family and undo the damage he's caused.

The Last Guardian – July 20

Guerrilla Games' PS3-exclusive The Last Guardian has been one of the most anticipated titles since it was first announced back in 2009. It stars a boy and his giant bird companion who must work together to uncover mysteries left behind by an ancient civilization while they're on a mission to find their lost companion Trico who has gone missing after helping them escape from imprisonment by shadowy figures known as 'Giants'.

Sony's PlayStation Plus service has been around for years now, offering access to a library of free games each month. The service is available on PS4 and PS3, but the monthly subscription fee is $50 for the first year and $15 for every year after that.

In July alone, we're getting new releases from Halo 5: Guardians, Rocket League, Divinity: Original Sin 2 and more. We'll be looking at what we can expect from the games in our exclusive article tomorrow morning (July 7), but for now let's take a look at what we know about them.

Halo 5: Guardians - Xbox One - July 31

This latest entry in 343 Industries' successful franchise pits Master Chief against an ancient enemy known as The Didact. You'll be playing as him this time around as you fight to protect humanity from total annihilation by an enemy who wants nothing more than to destroy everything you hold dear.
