PlayStation is trying to improve its PlayStation Plus services day by day. So, they have been working upon the same every day and night. This time for the month of April, they have included some games which would be provided free to the players who have purchased the PlayStation Plus subscription. Therefore, if you still have not purchased the same, then it is the right time to purchase PlayStation Plus and get the best games for free. The games which have been included this time in the PlayStation Plus are Hood Outlaws and Legends, Spongebob Squarepants Battle for Bikini Bottom, and Slay the Spire.

 

The developers are trying to improve it so that their PlayStation Plus subscription would be able to compete against Xbox Game Pass. As we all know, Xbox and PlayStation are tough competitors, they always try to be the best of the other. This is the reason why PlayStation is improving the benefits of PlayStation Plus so that players would be able to retreat from Xbox to PlayStation. But, this service is currently available only for the PS4 and PS5 platforms. Moreover, it would be further extended in the month of June and would have three modes of subscription which are Extra, Premium, and Essential with Premium having the most benefits.

As of now, the developers have many things to offer the players for this month. They will be able to add some games permanently to their library. Many data miners had already leaked which games would be coming next in the month of April to the PlayStation Plus. But now, Sony has also officially confirmed that there would be three new games that would be added to the PlayStation Plus and players can get these games permanently by claiming them. When will games be available for PS4 and PS5?

Many players would be thinking that when would these games be available for PS4 and PS5 for them to claim and get it in their libraries permanently. Moreover, players also know that Sony has never disappointed them through the games as it is among the top names in the gaming industry. Many top games like Mortal Kombat, God Of War, Spider-Man: Miles Morales, and much more are available to players through Sony PlayStation. There were three games that were introduced to the PlayStation Plus in March 2022 and these games were also the best.

 

The games launched to the pass last month were Ghostrunner, ARK: Survival Evolved, Team Sonic Racing, and Ghost of Tsushima: Legends. Therefore, having such great game titles being launched, players were expecting that more great games would be launched for them in the month of April. The games which would be launched to PlayStation Plus in the month of April are-

  1. Co-operative multiplayer medieval title Hoods: Outlaw and Legends - PS4/PS5

  2. Fun action platformer based on the popular animated character Spongebob Squarepants, Spongebob Squarepants Battle for Bikini Bottom - PS4

  3. Fantasy Deckbuilder title Slay the Spire - PS4

 

All of these games would be available to the players to download and claim on 1 April. But the time when they would be able to claim the games depends upon their time zones. So, these games will be launched at different times in different places which are as follows-

  • 2:00 AM PST

  • 5:00 AM EST

  • 10:00 AM GMT

  • 11:00 AM CET

  • 3:30 PM IST

  • 7:00 PM JST

 

Players can purchase the PlayStation Plus so that they can get access to many things in their PlayStation account. They can obtain the games which have been uploaded for free before 30 April 2022. In case they take the PlayStation Plus after 30 April, they won't be able to obtain the games that have been set free this month. But they will be able to get the other games which the developers would set free for the next month. If the players have purchased the same and want to add it to their libraries, then they have to search for that particular game on their PlayStation. The other way to do the same is that the players should head to their PS Plus sub-menu and then look for the games that have been set free.
