Tips to find Diamonds in Minecraft Java Edition

Minecraft allows the players to do a variety of things in their survival world's. The developers of the game have made their best efforts to ensure that the game remains exciting for the players. Mining is one of the best things which the players love to do in the game. There are many types of ores which the players can find in the game while mining. The more rare the ores are, the more powerful armors and weapons they would be able to make. Diamond is by far the rarest ore which the players could find in the game. Players would be able to mine this ore in the Overworld but after the version 1.18 update, it has become more difficult to find diamonds in the game. The world generation has changed significantly after the update due to which the spawn of ores is now more deeper than what it used to be.   

This had made it difficult for the players to find diamonds while mining in the game. However, there are many other ways in which the players would be able to find diamonds in the game but they require more chances of luck rather than work. But the best thing after the update is that the developers have improved the spawn rate of diamonds when the players would be going deeper in the Overworld. Here we would be having a look at some of the best ways in which the players would be able to find Diamonds in Minecraft Java Edition. These ways are as follows-  

Bastion Remnants Treasure chests

We all know that Nether is one of the most dangerous dimensions in the game as it represents the Hell. There are two structures which the players can get here which are Nether Fortress and Bastion Remnants. Bastion Remnants are one of the best places in the game where the players would be able to find a good amount of loot and barter with the Piglins to get Ender Pearls and along with that, these Bastion Remnants also contain some Treasure chests which have high chances of having diamonds in them. Moreover, if the players are lucky enough then they will get a total of six diamonds from just one Treasure chest in the Bastions.  

End City Chests

Another way in which the players would be able to find diamonds in the game is through the End City Chests. However, it is not that easy for the players to do the same as they need to defeat the Ender Dragon and then find the End City. Moreover, the End City ships are protected by the Shulkers which make it difficult for the players to get to the top and open the Treasure chests. The End City Chests are known to give the best loot to the players in the game and it also contains enchanted tools and enchantment books along with a good amount of diamonds.  

Fortune III Pickaxe

We all know that it is way too difficult to find diamonds while mining in the game. And usually, when we mine a diamond, we just get a single piece of the same. But if the players have a Fortune III Pickaxe, then it would be easier for them to complete their diamond Armor or fill their chests with diamonds. There are many levels of Fortune which the players can use to increase their chances of getting more diamonds from a single ore. A level 3 Fortune pickaxe would be increasing the chances of the players to receive diamonds from a single Diamond ore.   

Mining at Y Level -58

If the players have checked the spawn rate of Ores given by the developers after the 1.18 update, it can be seen that more diamonds spawn as we go towards the Bedrock. Y level -58 is considered to be the best place where diamonds spawn a lot in the game. If the players undergo strip mining at this level, they would be able to find a lot of diamonds within a few minutes of mining.
