BMPS Season 1 League Week 2 Day 1 Highlights

The second week of Battleground Mobile Pro Series Season 1 has officially started and the teams have started giving their comebacks from the first day of the week. The best part about this week is that Vikendi map has made its comeback to the competitive scenario of BGMI and matches had been played in the same during the day. At the end of the day, Team Soul still holds the first position with a total of 273 points and 137 kills. The team had an average performance today but they had scored much points in the previous week which is helping them to maintain their first spot. Now it is important for them to put up a good performance in the remaining three days of the league stages to maintain their first position. 

OR Esports had a fantabulous performance during the day which helped them to bridge the gap of points they had against the Team Soul. Now the team of OR Esports rests at the 2nd position with a total of 271 points. They were able to take a total of 79 points in the six matches played during the day which helped them a lot to bridge the gap. Now it would be intense to see which of these two teams, i.e., Team Soul or OR Esports is able to take up the first position by the end of day 2. The team of Nigma Galaxy was able to maintain their performance which helped them to end the day at the 3rd position. So, their position remained unaffected as their performance remained consistent during the day.

This day was also marked a comeback day for Team XO. The team had been suffering in the tournament matches for a long time and now they have finally made their most awaited comeback to the tournament. The team jumped a total of 13 places in the points table which helped them to finish the day at the 4th position. Team XO took a total of 82 points during the day which included two chicken dinners and these matches helped the team a lot to get a push in the overall standings of the tournament. Hydra Official also gave an improved performance which helped the team to jump up to the 6th position. The team of Hyderabad Hydras were not able to maintain their performance in some matches because of which they have fallen down to the 8th place.

Match Highlights

The first match of the day was being played on the Erangel map. This match saw the domination of Nigma Galaxy as they secured the win with a total of 13 finishes. The fights in the final circle were devastating as the team of Nigma Galaxy went against OR Esports and Walkouts against the odds. But fortunately they were able to secure the win through the use of different strategies. OR Esports had a good performance as they finished this match at the 2nd position while the Walkouts ended 3rd.

The second match was probably the best match played throughout the day as this match saw Team XO give a dominant performance in the Miramar map. The team had a slow start during the early circles of the game but made great use of zone and third parties which helped them to clinch the win with a total of 10 kills. They eliminated the team of Esports Wala WSF and GOG to claim the win. Global Esports looked to be the early favourites to win the match but unfortunately they were eliminated early claiming a total of 10 kills from the game. It would have been a massive win for the team if they would have survived.

After a long time, it was finally the moment when the competitive matches would be played in the Vikendi map. The first match being played in the Vikendi map was won by the team of Hydra Official. Although they played passively, but still they were able to win the game with a total of 6 kills. Blind Esports also gave a great performance in this match as they secured the 2nd position with a total of 9 kills in the game.
