Minecraft tricks which beginners should know

Minecraft is one of the most popular and also one of the most oldest games of all time. It has been more than 10 years since the game has been launched and the developers keep on bringing frequent updates to the game at regular intervals. These updates bring out new game content which excites the players a lot. But there are many players who are still looking forward to starting to play Minecraft. And they have been looking to get some tricks so that their start comes out to be great. Here we would be having a look at some basic tricks which beginners should know in Minecraft.

Finding North

It is important to have a direction track in the game. Although the game has various components like Maps and compasses, but they are way too difficult for the players to find. So, in case the players are not having any of these, they still can locate the Northern direction in the game through the blocks. Whenever the players are striking a block in the game, they are able to notice the cracks which occur on the same. The cracks which occur on the side of the block are pointing towards the Northern direction through which they can spot the North direction without any maps or compass.

Use of Stonecutters

Players must note that using Stonecutters is way too beneficial rather than using the Crafting table to make the slabs, etc. Still there are many other benefits which the players take out from the Stonecutters in the game. Most of the players do not use the Stonecutters as they think it is way too similar to the crafting table. But little do they know that the Stonecutters take less amount of stone as compared to the Crafting table making it a more efficient and economical source to get stone slabs, etc. So, you can use it to save stones for future use in the game.

Torch Spaces

Exploring the caves is one of the toughest tasks and also the most time consuming. Players take a lot of torches with them and keep on putting the torches at short distances. Torches are able to ensure that the hostile mobs do not spawn near the players while they are busy in their mining. But the players are recommended to place torches at a gap of 26 blocks. A torch in Minecraft has a range of 14 blocks but it is capable of providing light till 26 blocks. Therefore, it would be enough to keep the area between it having above zero light.

Zombie Proofing Doors

It is important to stay away from the hostile mobs during the night as mobs become more powerful during this time. In the easy and normal game mode, players can stop the mobs by the use of doors but that is not the case in the Hard difficulty. When the players play the game at Hard difficulty, zombies are able to break through the doors and kill them. But the players can even make the doors in the Hard mode zombie proof by putting them in such a way which confuses the zombies. If the players put the doors perpendicular and step away from the door to open it, it would confuse the zombies and they would ignore the door. Through this, the players would easily be able to survive the nights being played in the Hard mode of the game.

Pillaring

Night is the most dangerous time for all the Minecraft players as the rate of hostile mob spawn gets increased during this time. Moreover, the players have to ensure that they remain out of the attacking reach of the mobs. So, if the players have to remain away from the mobs, then it is recommended that they should build straight up. When the players would have built around 10-12 blocks, then they would be safe from the skeleton arrows and all what the players have to be aware is the spiders which might climb the pillar if they have spotted the players.
