Things you need to know about PUBG Mobile 2.0 update

Things you need All of the PUBG Mobile lovers have been waiting for the developers to launch the new update as soon as possible. It is expected that the update would be out within the next few days. However the developers have yet not provided any official date but still the data miners have been working out to find at which date the update would be launched. The developers seem to bring some more improvements to the update before making it ready to be officially launched. They have already started the beta testing of the same and players can even try the beta version.

Many players who played the beta version said that there are some bugs and glitches which they have reported to the developers. These glitches would be further solved by the developers as soon as possible so that the update is ready to be fully launched to the game. There are a number of features which are to be launched through the update and the developers have also confirmed it through the patch notes for the new update. Ever since the beta release, players have been waiting for the developers to launch the official version of the update as soon as possible.

On the other hand, the developers have also given some leaks to the players regarding the things which we would be seeing in the version 2.0 update. The Livik map of the game would now be officially launched through this update. The developers had launched this map almost a year ago and finally they have made all the issues fixed to ensure that Livik gets ready for the final launch. This also means that the players would no longer encounter bugs and glitches in the Livik map after the new update. There are many other improvements which the developers would be making to the Ban Pan system of the game so that they are able to deliver a fair play environment to the players.

Through every update, the developers of PUBG Mobile bring some sort of event or collaboration for the players. This time the developers have confirmed that they would be collaborating with Evangelion and the players can expect many events and free rewards that would be related to the same. Also, the Holi Dhamaka mode that had been launched to the game might be replaced to any other event specific mode which would be launched through this update.

Release date

Earlier, the data miners had said that the update would be officially launched on 11 or 12 May but that was not confirmed by the developers. So, some of the players reached out to the official discord of PUBG Mobile to bring out some details about the update release date. There we got to know that the update is not scheduled to be released either on 11 or 13 May as stated by the data miners. The discord helpers later also advised the players to wait for any information given from the developers side for the update and do not believe in any other sources.

So, the data miners this time seem to have provided some delayed information regarding the update. The information that had been provided by them was provided on the basis of which the previous updates in the game had been launched. Therefore, the data miners just took the estimates and predicted the date on which the developers would launch the update. The different time zones at which the update would be available to the players are as follows-

  • Indonesia: 4:00 PM

  • Bangladesh: 3:00 PM

  • Nepal: 2:45 PM

  • Pakistan: 2:00 PM

  • Japan: 6:00 PM

  • London: 10:00 PM

  • Brazil (Sao Paulo): 6:00 AM

  • USA (New York): 2:30 AM

The time zones may even vary as the update might be delayed depending on the platforms. We all are aware that there is a time gap between Android updates and iOS updates. Also, the time zone which has been provided above is estimated by taking the previous game updates and it seems that the developers would not be bringing changes to this time for launching the update in different regions.
