All you need to know about PS Plus India

PlayStation recently introduced a new pass service for their users which is also known as PlayStation Plus. But unfortunately, they were not able to launch it at a wide range during the start. Now they are focusing more to expand the range of availability of PlayStation Plus among the PlayStation users. Although Xbox is a good competitor of PlayStation, it is still not capable of beating PlayStation. When the developers of Xbox launched the Xbox Game Pass, many players shifted but then PlayStation developers brought in the PlayStation Plus which offers even more benefits than Xbox Game Pass.

Sony has confirmed that PlayStation Plus would be available to Indian users. But unfortunately, they would not be able to enjoy all the plans available to them. The developers have also confirmed that the Indian players would not be able to experience PlayStation Plus Premium subscription as there is not much cloud gaming available in India as compared to the other countries. Therefore, the Indian users of PlayStation would only be able to access the PlayStation Plus subscriptions till the Deluxe plan and not further than that. Although, it can be expected that Sony might bring some changes to the same so that the Indian users prefer it more and won't be missing the Premium subscription.

The concept of subscription became popular when Xbox first launched its Game Pass. Players have to pay a fixed monthly amount through which they would be able to get access to the games. And once the subscription expires, players have to renew it. This is one of the best ways for those who want to try the games before thinking whether they have to buy it or not. It is also beneficial as the players would be able to make their decisions quickly without wasting their money. Players would not be having a complete game ownership but still they would be able to try the games completely till their subscription comes to an end.

PlayStation Plus India

Sony has only revealed that they would be bringing PlayStation Plus to India and it has still not revealed what would be the prices of the same and what benefits the players will get. However, there are some rumours roaming all over the web regarding the pricing and other things which Sony would be bringing for the Indian users through the PlayStation Plus. The company would also be doing some things which might bring them much closer to the Xbox Game Pass.

It can be said that there would be a huge variety of games provided to the players through the pass. Players would then be able to access both Multiplayer and other games through the same but it cannot be said whether the developers would be bringing in new games from the start or not. There is one thing which might prevent Indian users getting access to the things which North American and European users get and that is the access to PS Now. It is a popular streaming service where the players would be able play the games which they selected directly and stream them.

There are a total of three subscription plans which would be accessible to the players residing in India. These plans are Essential, Extra and Deluxe. PS 3 library on the other hand is not accessible to the Indian players as it is only limited to the cloud streaming. When the players would be bringing the PlayStation Plus Essential pack, they would be able to have some basic benefits and the plans for them would be starting at 500 INR per month. If the players purchase it for 12 months, then they would have to pay 2999 INR.

The players would be getting a few additional benefits which the players would be getting if they purchase the Extra pack. When the players purchase the same, they would be able to access more than 400 catalogues which are available to both PS 4 and PS 5 which would also include some blockbuster games at which the players waited for a long time to get their hands on. On the other hand, the Deluxe edition users would also be getting access to old generation PlayStation titles which were available on PS 2 and PSP consoles.
